Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on October 3, 2019October 4, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 3 No.2 Scallopini Could not have been any more impressive when winning first up here a month back. He settled off the speed in a race which was slowly run up front before getting to the outside and cutting down his rivals near the line. The margin wasn’t big however the effort was as he had to clock a very quick sectional to win. Kept fresh he can produce a similar result tomorrow. RACE 5 No.10 Joymaker Heavily backed when a dominant winner at the Sunshine Coast two starts back before a terrific second at Doomben last time out. She settled back in the field and dashed home into second spot in a completely unsuitably run race in which the winner led throughout. Up in distance tomorrow drawn well expect her closer in the run and hard to hold out late. RACE 6 No.9 Macewen Not exactly the punters pal of late having been beaten at his past two starts when well in the market. To be honest he’s had nothing go his way at either run having got back in a slowly run race two back before unable to get into the clear at a vital stage the latest. Freshened up and back to Eagle Farm he’s well worth another chance. Quaddie 5, 9 1, 2, 3, 9, 13 1, 2, 12 4, 5, 12, 14 Market Market
