Yes this is harder however he clocked the fastest last 200m of the day on that occasion and clearly so, that’s a handy effort at his first start suggesting he’s well above average and up to the harder task tomorrow.

RACE 4 No.9 Poetic Charmer

Team Snowden trained galloper who was in terrific form last campaign winning or placing at 5 of his 6 attempts, his only failure came at his final run for the prep when striking wet ground. Placed 3 of 4 fresh to date he can go one better tomorrow off the back off a strong recent trial win. As we know trial winners from this stable generally produce fresh.

RACE 5 No.15 Constellations

Lightly raced mare who at the price is worth a try on an each-way basis tomorrow. Liked her Newcastle win first up from a break showing good dash to score before being thrown in the deep end here in a Benchmark 78 running into the placings coming from off the speed. Staying at the same level tomorrow with that run under her belt she can figure in the finish with a touch of luck.
