The Scout: EPL Matchday 34 Posted on April 12, 2019April 12, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Leicester vs Newcastle 13th April, 3am WST Leicester recorded their 4th straight win last weekend with a 4-1 rout of soon to be relegated Huddersfield. Sitting 7th on the table, The Foxes are equal on points with Wolverhampton and will need to keep winning if they’re to play Europa League football next season. 15th placed Newcastle are still a chance to be relegated. Away from home they’ve been poor all season – yet to record a win on the road in 2019 and having lost their last eight Premier League matches away from St James’ Park. Leicester’s form revival has coincided with the signing of new manager Brendan Rogers. They’ve been on fire up front, scoring 14 goals in their last six games, half of those are thanks to English striker Jamie Vardy. Suggested Bet: Match Result Leicester @ $1.72* Burnley vs Cardiff 13th April, 10pm WST Burnley appear safe from relegation after last week’s 3-1 away win over Bournemouth. They find themselves 14th on the ladder, with two wins on the trot, and can all but secure their Premier League fate with a win against Cardiff. Cardiff are sitting 18th, five points behind Southampton, and in need of a massive revival to avoid relegation. With only one win in their last six Premier League fixtures it’s not looking good for the Welsh side. Burnley have had little trouble scoring goals of late with a minimum of two goals coming in each of their recent wins. They have a big opportunity to continue their goal scoring ways against an opponent have with the third worst defense in the league, conceding 61 goals for the season. In their last six Premier League matches, Cardiff have conceded an unimpressive 14 goals. They’re not a side that travels well either having won just twice on the road all season. Suggested Bet: Match Result Burnley @ $1.90* Fulham vs Everton 13th April, 10pm WST It’s been a disastrous season for Fulham. 19th on the table, the once-newly promoted side is going back to the second division in the blink of an eye. With only four wins for the season, Fulham’s biggest downfall has been their defense – having conceded a whopping 76 goals for the season. Everton were clinical last matchday with an impressive 1-0 win over Arsenal. The victory sees them in 9th spot, only a point off 7th. The Toffees haven’t conceded a goal in their last three matches (all wins) with English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford the general down back. Combine the defensive efforts with the attacking talent of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison and they are a formidable opponent, who on paper, should make light work of Fulham. Fulham have lost their last nine matches conceding 23 goals in this span, with at least two coming in every match. Against the white-hot Toffees, things could get ugly. Suggested Bet: Match Result Everton & Over 2.5 Goals $2* *Odds correct as at 11.30am WST 12th April 2019. Market Market
