Off the boil for some time his last 3 starts have resulted in a win and 2 unlucky placings suggesting he’s back enjoying his racing. Strong grinding winner two back at Eagle Farm he was forced to take off early with the slow speed same track last start when just feeling the pinch late. From a perfect gate tomorrow with Lloyd on board he’ll gain the perfect run.

RACE 8 No.2 Eminent

Nice type of galloper from the David Vandyke stable who resumes tomorrow holding an impressive fresh record of 2 wins and a placing from 4 first up attempts. Like the fact he returns at 1350m as he’s always strong to the line whether in victory or defeat. Trialled well recently he can park nice and handy from the gate. Good alley, good jockey looks a good each-way bet!

RACE 9 No.4 Tumbler

Terrific mare who has certainly had her share of issues along the way which explains only the 15 starts as a 7 year old. She put in an outstanding effort first up at the Sunshine Coast on Australia Day steaming down the outside from last to beat all bar the winner. There’s a stack of speed engaged in tomorrow’s race, if she’s close enough on the turn lookout!
