RACE 4 No.13 Chapter And Verse

Promising galloper well placed tomorrow having drawn a perfect alley third up from a break. He steamed home right over his rivals first up at the Sunshine Coast over 1000m before being dealt a wide gate in a race with no pace second up at 1200m, his effort to still make ground from the back was a good one. 1350m tomorrow a lot closer in the run looks the winner.

RACE 7 No.6 Sold For Song

Terrific local mare who will relish the step up to 1600m tomorrow. Her pattern is to get back and run home hard which she certainly has done at both starts since coming back from a stint down south. The additional trip will suit nicely and note she’s only been to the mile twice in the past for placings in both the Queensland and Sunshine Coast Guineas.

RACE 9 No.3 Awesome Pluck

Port Macquarie visitor who turned in a terrific effort here a fortnight back when drawing a wide gate and having to work the first half of the race before parking outside the leader 600m from home. He did a good job to hold a placing as he was a sitting shot halfway down the straight. Drawn a better gate tomorrow he can make amends.
