He raced from well off the speed and hit the line well. Draws a gate to sit much closer in a high pressure race could be last man standing. CUP NIGHT will likely settle in an identical spot to where he won his last race from. Brilliant turn of acceleration. DRIFTSTAR won well last start and draws the fence, he’ll look to hold the fence and run time. DANCE MUSIC won two weak races before being found out last start. Freshened and early support, respect. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – PABLO’S POEM WIN Race 2 PEARL TRADE ran a mighty race fresh without a trial last preparation when finding traffic at crucial stages and flying home behind boom filly Fabergino. With only 52.5kg after the claim she looks a genuine winning chance. IN LOVE WITH PARIS draws horribly here but showed versatility first-up. This race contains inferior opposition and he deserves to be favourite. REGAL MOON is flying, she only needs a clear passage and she’ll be storming. THE NICCONIAN should lead this at a relatively soft tempo, gets his chance. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – PEARL TRADE EACHWAY Race 3 FIVE DEGREES probably should be four from five this preparation and if she can jump cleanly should find the spot outside Brother’s Keeper and they’ll set a strong tempo. Love the way she keeps digging late in races. MISSISSIPPI DELTA is a very progressive stayer who looked gone for all money last week. Picked herself up and charged late, she’s the one to beat. DARK PROSPECT was a query at the trip last time out but showed staying potential. SALON DU CHEVAL has done nothing wrong and is gunning for a picket fence, no reason he can’t win again. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – FIVE DEGREES EACHWAY Race 4 STAGEMAN looked plain on paper first-up but infact ran some of the quickest final sections of the entire meeting. Bounced back hard second-up and won softly. This race looks his for the taking and he’ll be tough to hold out. MISTY METAL was excellent first-up after being slow away early. Could end up in the breeze here or even lob 1×1. JINGTANG jumps as quick as anything and is the obvious leader. Went well fresh. SHOWCASE won’t enjoy the same run in transit to last start but she is classy. Numbers: 8 – 4 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – STAGEMAN WIN Race 5 CAPPO D’ORO is not as well credentialed as many of his rivals but this race has a distinct lack of speed. He should able straight to the front and lead them in neutral. From there they have to run him down. PRIZE CATCH is a query at the trip but importantly reunites with Glenn Smith who he goes lengths better for than anyone. ELEGANT BLAST again races outside the handicap but she is going brilliantly. Can’t fault her form. MISSILE LAUNCH loomed like the winner in a track record breaking Northam Cup. He’s building. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 7 – 10 Suggested Bet – CAPPO D’ORO EACHWAY Race 6 SCALES OF JUSTICE adds a real intrigue to an already mouthwatering contest. At his best ‘chopper’ would be favourite and looks poised to sit right on the back of Great Shot who rolls two horses off the fence at every outing. Makes things interesting. ENTICING STAR is undefeated after 8 and this is by far and away her toughest test to date. WFA conditions make it tough for her. Can’t wait to see how she stacks up. GREAT SHOT finally gets conditions to suit him. He’s been going well. MAN BOOKER is back to his very best and is right in it again. Numbers: 1 – 8 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – SCALES OF JUSTICE WIN Race 7 CHIX PIC was the best run in the Belgravia outside of the winner, Lady Cosmology and Flirtini who went on to quinella the Burgess Queen Stakes. Draw looks awkward but should end up three deep with cover at worst. BLACK SABBATH is the big winner at the barrier draws. Should enjoy the run of the race and can bounce back to his best. TRUE DEFENDER and REGAL POWER are both clearly winning chances as are the other cerise and white gallopers who bring alternate form lines. Cracking race. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 5 – 13 Suggested Bet – CHIX PIC WIN Race 8 OUQBA JACK gets his chance having drawn a gate to sit right behind the speed and pounce on the leaders. Last start they were walking and he didn’t do a lot of work three deep no cover but was still brave to fight on the way he did. This looks his race. SIGIL was not suited last start chasing a long way from home and flushed deep. He is the danger and was a better run than Ouqba Jack in the Miracle Man race. SENTIMENTAL FRIEND has trialed well for his return and could shoot through the grades this preparation. HONORFIC gets a senior rider aboard for the first time in months. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – OUQBA JACK WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,3,5,7,10 1,2,3,8 2,3,5,6,13 2,4,5 Market Market
