RACE 6 No.5 Conspicuous

Terrific effort at Doomben two starts back when held up the majority of the straight. Jockey Tegan Harrison was able to keep up his momentum to a point however he only saw daylight inside the final 100m where he picked up and ran on well to beat all bar the winner. Forgive last week’s run when ridden too close being pressured solidly all the way.

RACE 8 No.9 Ingeegoodbe

Two runs back from a break and a step up in distance suggests this Robert Heathcote trained gelding can figure in the finish tomorrow. Just spotted him making late ground here at the end of 1350m last week and the way this race maps on paper he could well find himself parked just behind the speed on the fence. With room in the straight lookout!

RACE 9 No.6 Chapter And Verse

Lightly raced gelding who is yet to miss a placing at his 6 career starts and has really put the writing on the wall his last couple hitting the line strongly over 1350 and 1400m. Tomorrow he takes the step up to 1600m range for the first time which appears made to order at this stage of his campaign. Great value.
