Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on June 29, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 1 No.15 Bluebrook Lightly raced galloper who although unknown on Heavy ground has finished close up at his last couple both on Soft surfaces. Like the way he’s progressing and his effort at Ipswich last start was a good one hitting the lead in the straight only to be cut down late, he was rising 1000m to 1350m on that occasion suggesting he’ll strip a lot fitter tomorrow. Ready to win. RACE 4 No.4 Perfect Aim All the way winner in easier grade at Ipswich three starts back before finishing close up both subsequent starts in stronger grade. Bumped at the start last run he settled further back than expected before finishing the race off strongly late. Jim Byrne jumps on tomorrow from a good draw and with even luck at the start he can settle a lot closer and prove tough to beat. RACE 5 No.17 Jetsonic Consistent galloper who finds it hard to win at times however does appear to have found the ideal race tomorrow. He’s been thereabouts in tougher grade of late coming out of a Class 6 at Ipswich last time out running on late behind his stablemate Of The Day. He finds himself on the minimum weight, perfectly drawn, a solid tempo to suit and a favourable wet track. Plenty of ticks!
