Placed on debut here back in December before finishing close up in a couple of Magic Millions lead-up races behind smart types Outback Barbie and Meryl prior to being sent for a break. Coasted into 3rd spot in a recent home track trial clocked in smart time. Keen to follow any market support.

RACE 2 No.4 Granny Red Shoes

Very promising filly from the Edmonds yard who overcame difficulties to score at the Sunshine Coast last time out over 1200m. Although aided by a slick tempo on that occasion she had difficulty gaining clear running at a vital stage in the straight, once seeing daylight though she really picked up strongly racing away late to score impressively. The step up to 1350m tomorrow looks made to order.

Tomorrow’s race sets up very similarly to his win here over this 1350m trip 5 weeks ago. He drew well, scored a lovely run on the fence and when the gap game in the straight through he went to score. That followed a super first up run when flashing to the line over an unsuitable trip at Ipswich. Drawn perfectly again could well be a carbon copy of last time!
