Godolphin trained galloper who resumes from a break tomorrow having looked very good when winning his only start to date at Canterbury towards the end of May. He sat off the lead in a leisurely run affair before blowing his rivals away down the straight to score by 2 lengths. Two recent trials (the latest a cracker) have him all ready to win first up

RACE 4 No. 9 Count Cumani

Trainer Matt Dunn has made these Highway races his own in the past couple of seasons and he’s all set to make it another here with this lightly raced and highly promising gelding. Yes he takes a decent rise in grade here however his past couple of wins at the Gold Coast and Ipswich have been impressive when finding the line strongly on each occasion. Confident he can take the step up in grade and bring up the hat trick.

RACE 5 No. 5 Nietta

Flying mare from the John Thompson stable who is unbeaten at 3 first up attempts to date. She tackles tougher company tomorrow however the way this race is likely to pan out will play into her hands. The speed up front appears to be solid and she can land a great spot tracking the early leaders. Look out once in the straight as she holds a very strong finishing burst.
