RACE 1

BLACKLINE should make amends for her last defeat. This is a big drop in class and she should lead and win. NIGHT BEATS looks the clear second pick after an impressive debut win where he defeated a subsequent winner. ORANGE STRUDEL and HOT BRESA have place claims.

Numbers – 4 – 2 – 6 – 1

Suggested Bet – BLACKLINE WIN

RACE 2

This looks the race of the day. FLOYD was a little disappointing first-up however suspect he improves off that run and takes some catching. DELANEY is a nice type who resumes from a spell. The gate is tricky as he may go back. PROCONI was a soft first-up winner at Bunbury. KING OF CHAOS is another who resumes from a spell and has ability.

Suggested Bet – FLOYD WIN

RACE 3

Open race with a number of numbers. DETANGO resumes from a spell with the benefit of a soft trial win. She’s drawn a sticky gate however Pike rides and if he can get some cover she find the line strongly. REMEMBER BERLIN should lead and give a big sight. RECOILED and LE PATRON both appear genuine winning hopes.

Suggested Bet –  DETANGO AND REMEMBER BERLIN

RACE 4

TONKATUFF found the line nicely first-up. He improves off that run and can settle closer from a good draw. SECRET DOUBT drops in class and appears the leader. FREMOND is always a chance at this level. GRADUAL INCLINE was outclassed in a Bunbury 3YO feature. This looks more suitable.

RACE 5

National Apprentices’ Challenge race. TOUCH OF SILVER is the horse coming through the grades. With normal luck he goes very close. MAXIMUS MAK broke a long drought last week. He looks the leader again. AWESOME AS is racing well and will likely box seat in running. SAXSONIC JACK looks just about ready.

Suggested – 2 – 4 – 3 – 5              

Suggested Bet –  TOUCH OF SILVER SAVE MAXIMUS MAK

RACE 6

CELTIC WIZARD has been knocking on the door at his last few starts. The rise to a mile looks a positive and this looks a slightly easier race than last week. BEAUCOUNT hasn’t won since his debut however he can sit right on the speed and give a big sight. BIG CABBAGE is racing well. CHECKERS can lead or settle be right on the speed.

Numbers –  7 – 2 – 6 – 3

Suggested Bet – CELTIC WIZARD WIN

RACE 7

Tricky staying race to finish the program. ROSEWOOD HILL is in career best form and looks a strong chance. REGAL ROUGE comes off a month break since her win at Bunbury however she came off the same break in that event. CULVERIN drops in class. TOMMI TOOCAN was a dominant winner at Bunbury and Pike rides.
