Sully’s NRL Round 3 Preview Posted on March 16, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan Round 3 kicks off with a ripper clash between the Storm and the Broncos. The Storm have had 2 great wins in atrocious conditions and welcome back Star Billy Slater who is making just his 9th appearance in 2 years after a frustrating run of injuries. They take on a Broncos side that were involved in another epic encounter last week against their arch-rivals the Cowboys when defeated by a point in another Golden Point thriller. Sam Thaiday played an incredible 87 minutes in that loss and it will be interesting to see how he backs up for this match. On Friday the Bulldogs take a home game to Dunedin looking to grab their first win of 2017 against the Warriors, while the Titans v Eels clash has been robbed of some interest with injuries to Jarryd Hayne for the Titans and Corey Norman for the undefeated Eels. After a long run of outs can the Newcastle Knights win 2 in a row? That is the question when they take on the Rabbitohs. The Bunnies will be hoping Robbie Farah celebrates his 250th NRL Game Milestone with a victory. The Panthers host their first home game of 2017 in what promises to be a tremendous encounter against the high-flying Roosters and to round out Super Saturday the Cowboys decimated by injuries & suspension host the Sea Eagles. Sunday sees the Canberra Raiders at home and searching for their first 2 premiership points of the season against the inconsistent West Tigers while the local Derby of Derbies between the Sharks and the Dragons promises to be action packed. Don’t forget there is a $10,000 Tip 8 NRL Jackpot up for grabs once again with TABtouch this weekend – my suggestion is below.
