RACE 1

ELEGANT BLAST is a filly with plenty of quality. She was able to win both starts in her initial campaign and including beating the subsequent impressive winner Veuve De Vega. She settled midfield and be hard to hold out. SPEEDING COMET looks the danger. He can lead or box seat from gate and he has trialled quite well. TOW ROPE has impressed in all trials. NEXT GENERATION is rock hard fit.

RACE 2

MISS ICONIC looks the best of the day. She was run down late when resuming by a horse who went on to win his next start. She should be able to cross to the front or breeze and crack it for an overdue maiden win. TABTouch  Super Pick Run Second Money Back appeals with her. Hard to isolate a key danger. GRAVY and COUNT KALA are always around the mark. CHEAP EXPRESS will get home well.

RACE 3

PRETENTIOUS CHANT is a smart sprinter who will take some catching first-up. He was scratched last week with a foot abscess however if he is all over that and ready to go suspect he has a class edge on these. He produced some big efforts from wide gates last preparation and the only occasion he started over this journey he led and bolted in. TRAVELLIN’ looks the danger. He excels at this trip and will get a nice run trailing the speed. SHE RULES ALL will tough it out on the speed. PATRIMONIO is always a chance at this level.

RACE 4

This looks close to a raffle. BARAKI BEATS led and was run down in the shadows last week. He’ll go close again. DISCOVILLE was well supported in betting when returning from an eight week let up and he didn’t disappoint producing a strong win. More depth in this but he has claims again. FO’ SHIZZLE will box seat from gate 1. ALL TOO MUCH is in career best form.

RACE 5

MATERIAL MAN is a galloper with a heap of ability and he showed that last start when he jumped from a mile to 2200m for the first time, did a power of work and was still too strong. From gate 1 he should get a very soft run and prove very hard to beat. FATHOMS OF GOLD will lead and try and make it a true staying test. FALCON CREST has returned in magnificent order. The rise to 2100m is the query. MILITARY SERVICE looks just about ready.

RACE 6

DJANGO has been flying since joining the Alan Mathews stable. He’ll get the perfect run from gate 4 and go close. ROYAL SUPREME looks the danger. He produced a huge win at his most recent start and will get 3.5kg weight advantage on the topweight. FLYING ROAR will try and lead and dictate. INFATHUATED goes well fresh and is another who will be right on the speed.

RACE 7

The feature race of the day and it looks very tough. RED ORA has been well below his best all preparation and it appears William Pike has jumped off him to ride SOCIALLY UNIQUE. I’ll give RED ORA one last chance as if he can get anywhere near his best he would beat these. SOCIALLY UNIQUE looks the danger. He’s up in class however he’s on the up and possesses a big finish. YOUNG LIONEL resumes from a spell. He won the Bunbury Stakes fresh last preparation. AKHEDASSET can lead and give a sight.

Suggested Bet – RED ORA SAVE SOCIALLY UNIQUE

RACE 8

BRACKETS produced a career best performance last week when he sat on the speed and on the rail and never looked like getting beaten. From gate 1 he should get the same run and can make it back to back wins. LET IT SLIP is the class runner of the race. She races well fresh and if she is within striking distance she can zap these. RECOILED has claims if he can jump cleanly and race on the pace. AGARCHAR CRUZ is a talented sprinter resuming without a trial.
