Greg’s Kalgoorlie Top Tips Posted on June 24, 2016June 27, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 1 Messy little race to start the program. ADRICAT looks the one to beat. The small field means he stalks the speed and he should be too strong. SATURDAY SKIES leads and controls. GET ROUND IT improves with increase in trip. ZUBOYNE next best. Numbers – 2 – 3 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – Adricat win RACE 2 Very open maiden. CLEVE’S WATCHING should just be about ready at his third run at this track. He had little luck at his most recent outing. BRITTELLA looks very well placed. She has been competitive throughout her career and the Kalgoorlie track should suit her on pace style. SCANDAVISTA comes up from Perth for the Parnham yard. Her recent form measures up in this. RHINO’S BUSTER next best. Numbers – 3 – 8 – 13 – 1 Suggested Bet – Cleve’s Watching and Britella RACE 3 HALUSA is resuming from a year lay-off. He’s always shown plenty of ability and going by his recent trial win he’ll take some beating first-up. OPEN ERA is a tough on speed type and Lucy Warwick rides. THE CRUEL SEA was lifted to victory by Brad Parnham at his most recent start and he retains the ride. ARSENAL POWER is always a chance at this level. Numbers – 5 – 7 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – Halusa win RACE 4 MINCE PIE won his maiden well two back and then was solid at Northam. Back on his home circuit he looks the one to beat. RIO FLYER should be ready to show his best at his third run back from a spell. BAY PUBLISHER comes up from the metro region and Brad Parnham takes the ride. LONGSCHAMPS is consistent and has claims. Numbers – 8 – 9 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – Mince Pie win RACE 5 PROHURST EXPRESS has been in exceptional form the last two months with his only blemish the day he missed the kick after waiting in the gates for minutes for a rogue starter to be loaded. He rises slightly in weight but should be too slick for these again. THE EXPRESS has found form. He was caught wide behind Prohurst Express and battled on with great tenacity. SMART AS A FOX ran well at Northam. RAFFERTY is racing well. Numbers – 5 – 9 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – Prohurst Express win RACE 6 THIDWICK THE MOOSE gets his chance for a well deserved win. He has been knocking on the door all preparation and last time out ran well in a strong race at Northam. Drawn 2 he should get the run of the race and the drop back to 1400m is a positive. DARK ROYALTY is becoming a costly horse for punters this preparation. He’s finding the line Ok but never getting into winnable spot in running. ATTAMOR was caught wide last start. He won his prior two races in easier grade well. ROADSINGER can lead and give some cheek. Numbers – 1 – 2 – 5 – 4 Suggested Bet – Thidwick The Moose win RACE 7 SIR DANY had little luck in his local debut. He doesn’t win out of turn but should measure up at this level. NEW ATTIRE was well supported last week and won well. Lucy warwick should give him a perfect run from a good draw. TEN PACES can lead and give some cheek. YALOGINDA next best. Numbers – 4 – 1 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – Sir Dandy and New Attire QUADDIE RACE 4 – 2, 4, 8, 9 RACE 5 – 1, 5, 8, 9 RACE 6 – 1, 2, 5 RACE 7 – 1, 4 Bet Now
