Harding Oozes Confidence in Galaxy Final Posted on April 22, 2016 | Posted by Julio Santarelli Trainer Keith Harding believes Seeking Justice won’t get a better opportunity of landing an elite victory when he tackles the Group 1 Sky Racing Galaxy (715m) at Cannington on Saturday. Harding is armed with supreme confidence after Seeking Justice recorded the fastest heat win last week and came up with the coveted red box, the most successful draw in Galaxy history. Seeking Justice is poised to become the ninth greyhound in 33 years to win from box one and the first since Victorian raider, Born Ali. in 2014. The brindle dog is a short-priced favourite and validated his short quote when he stopped the clock at 42.41sec. and held out a late challenge from Alka Casey in heat one. Harding, chasing his third win in the Galaxy, said Seeking Justice had superior staying power over most of his rivals and if defeated he would offer no excuses. “He is one of the few who is a genuine 700m metre greyhound,” Harding said on TAB radio. “Box one puts him into the race and he has had a good look at the track. “If he can hold the lead to the first turn he should really win. “He is a very strong type of dog. “He is boxed to win and has run time to win. “What more can you ask for “If he can’t win then he won’t be good enough. “There is no doubt he has every opportunity to win it.” A Seeking Justice win will elevate Harding to outright second position in the Galaxy honour roll. After preparing inaugural Galaxy champion, Afro Freeway (1982) and Elektra (2008), he sits three behind, Linda Britton. Afro Freeway, who scored 27 wins and only missed a placing twice from 39 starts, was inducted into the Western Australian Racing Industry Hall of Fame in 2010. The TAB has Seeking Justice at $2. Lioness Lulu, who ran 42.66sec. in her heat win, is $2.60 and the only other starter in single figure odds.
