Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Warranambool Preview Posted on April 30, 2024April 30, 2024 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 BARGINO swaps winkers for blinkers after an encouraging debut and has jumped out well between runs. BOGA LEGEND showed talent in his first prep and has trialled in good style to resume. COTTON TREE shouldn’t be a maiden for long and can settle closer than his debut with a clean get away. INFRINGEMENT pulled up with excuses last start and has strong claims on his previous run Selections: 1,2,3,8 Suggested Bet: Bargino each way Race 2 BLACK PEPPERMINT is sure to be improved by his encouraging debut and will appreciate the extra trip. ENGELINE has shown talent since joining the Ryan stable and had excuses when tested at 1600m two starts back. THAT’SWHATSHESAID is fit and racing well. WHISTLE DOWN ran well first up and maps for a good run. Selections: 2,12,14, Suggested Bet: Quinella/Exacta 2 & 12 Race 3 Plenty to learn with so many on debut. SHADHAVAR, LA PLEINE LUNE, SIMPLY SASSY, GUERITE and GOLDEN WARRIOR have all talent but could easily mount a case for many others. DENIAL ran well on debut and that form looks strong after last Saturday’s Showdown at Caulfield. Selections: 14,1,4,15 Suggested Bet: Happy to look and learn Race 4 TOM FOOERY ran well on the flat last week and his jumps form this seasen is sound. DUKE OF BEDFORD has also kicked of the jumps season in good form. NOT USUAL DREAM will be better for his lastest run. GUNALUVA and RAISE YOU SIGHTS are in the game. Selections: 9,2,3,5 Suggested Bet: Tom Foolery each way Race 5 TI TREE LAD had been trialling well leading into his first up run, he’ll strip fitter and the extra distance suits. BORN TO SHINE performed a little below market expectations last time but the third horse has since won and her previous run was good for this. SWANNY DEE debuted in a strong race and has jumped out nicely to resume with his stablemate WRITE YOUR OWN who appears to have improved during his break. NEFERURE is another to jump out well to kick off her second prep. Selections: 9,13,8,11 Suggested Bet: Ti Tree Lad to win Race 6 BEDFORD is a promising jumper and his recent flat runs should have him ready. FABALOT will give a sight on speed. THE MIGHTY SPAR will be better for his first Australian run. BLANDFORD LAD comes the rough the same race and has claims. Selections: 3,2,10,1 Suggested Bet: Bedford to win Race 7 Plenty of chances in a deep race. BIFROST might need some luck from the draw but will strip fitter and his latest run was better than it reads on paper. BOONIE has jumped out in good style to resume and gets the benefit of a claim. RIVKIN has also jumped out well, he lokes it here and is a first up winner. NASRAAWY is another with a sound first up record that has been jumping out well. LE PARRAIN brings some solid NSW form and has been trialling well. MISS BALVENIE has jumped out in typically good fashion. PROPHET’S CHOICE has jumped out well since her encouraging return. JUST WATCH ME resumes without a trial or jumpout but has genuine upside and any market support could be worth following. Selections: 6,1,2,11 Suggested Bet: Bifrost each way Race 8 IS IT ME ran well first up and no doubt has been targeted at this race. MISTWON BOSS bounced back last time and the Johnny Rocker form reads well. FLASH FLOOD has jumped out well and is effective first up. TUVALU, SENEGALIA and YELLOW SAM are among the other chances. Selections: 16,13,7,1 Suggested Bet: Is It Me each way Race 9 A VOTRE SANTE isn’t a noted first up performer but she’s been given a few quiet trials to kick off at a suitable trip and the stable is flying. ARMSTRONG BAY will strip fitter for his latest run and shapes as though this trip will suit. DUO PERNA beat Armstrong Bay home last time but may need luck from the draw. MARK OF THE MAN is fit and racing well. KIMMORLEY and GIMME GOLD are in the mix in another deep race. Selections: 11,8,10,6 Suggested Bet: A Votre Sante each way Race 10 Another deep race. JABBAWOCKEEZ ran well first up, he’s a second up winner and any ‘give’ in the ground would be a bonus. THE DEVIL IN HER has been trialling/jumping out ok and she brings an impressive first up record. ELECTRIC IMPULSE will strip fitter for an encouraging return and is another that would appreciate any rain. AUSTRATA is another with a decent first up record that has been jumping out nicely to kick off at a suitable trip. WORSFOLD did enough first up and will strip fitter. Selections: 16,9,4,3 Suggested Bet: THE DEVIL IN HER each way Market Market
