Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on December 13, 2022December 13, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 RACKERMANN hit the line well on debut and looks suited stepping up to 1400m. FIELD THE MOMENT resumes with blinkers on and has jumped out well. CORTES stuck on well on debut and is another that looks suited by a rise in distance. SHUFFLE DANCER will strip fitter for her return, where she didn’t have the best of luck. THE WOKE WAITER and THORNYCROFT have trifecta/first four claims. Selections: 6,11,12,1 Suggested Bet: Rackermann to win Race 2 BEL AIR has jumped out well to resume and the form lines through Aft Cabin and Boogie Dancer looks strong for this. BLACK ZOUS has also been jumping out quite well and looks suited resuming at this trip. DIESEL had jumped out well prior to his debut, he ran well there and can make his own luck. THINK I’M DIVINE is fit and consistent. Selections: 7,1,8,9 Suggested Bet: Bel Air to win Race 3 TAVISTORM worked home well here over 2100m last start and looks suited getting out to 2400m. HARDLY SWEET should be approaching peak fitness and gives the impression she will cope with the rise in distance. DONATRICE maps for a good run and is hard fit. STATELY STAR hit the line strongly in an easier race last start and should appreciate stepping up in trip. Selections: 2,3,5,6 Suggested Bet: Tavistorm to win Race 4 LIBERATED GIRL is likely to be a short priced favourite and looks hard to beat. She chased an in-form stablemate last start, who has gone on to win again in stronger company. DANE ON TOUR gets blinkers first time and is racing well in similar races. MAID OF IRON comes through the same race as Liberated Girl and is likely to be ridden a bit further back. QUEEN ADELE kicks off her campaign at a suitable trip and has jumped out ok. MISS CABARET is in the mix for multiples. Selections: 5,4,1,3 Suggested Bet: Liberated Girl to win Race 5 OCEANOGRAPHY comes through a strong form race behind Russian Roni, who has won again since in stronger company. IMA SHELBY had no luck at a crucial stage last start and looks a strong danger. JAFFASTOCK also chased Russian Roni last start and didn’t have the best run throughout the race. BADISS will be better over further, but has been jumping out quite well. ARTRESE and POTATO PETE have claims. Selections: 1,3,4,9 Suggested Bet: Quinella/Exacta 1 & 3 Race 6 EL CORDOBES generally runs well first up and has jumped out in good tyle to resume. OCEAN RAIDER looked unlucky last start when finishing behind ZOUTELLUS. Through a different form line MIANADO also had no luck at a crucial stage last start. PYRIOS has jumped out well since a forgivable run down the Flemington straight. HENNESSY LAD and ONE REASON are in the mix in a deep race. Selections: 1,6,12,8 Suggested Bet: El Cordobes each way Race 7 SUPARAZI is having a good preparation, he backs up from a solid run last week and maps to get every chance. TESER was only narrowly beaten last start, he was well backed and had difficulty building momentum when he needed to. POCKET CHANGE got too keen last start, from the inside draw he should get cover and may settle better. HESKET looks suited by a rise in distance second up. COMMODUS worked hoe well behind an in-form galloper last start. Selections: 1,7,5,2 Suggested Bet: Suparazi to win Race 8 VERMENTINO looks promising, you’d think he’ll strip even fitter following his first up win. MISO also looks promising and the form through his first up win has held up well. D’JUMBUCK has a wide draw to overcome, but likes it here and has been jumping out well. If HARBIN gains a start, then he he’s in the game. DEPRIVATION was good winning two starts back and pulled up with a degree of lameness last time. FRIGID has strong WA form and has jumped out in good style for the new stable. Selections: 11,12,7,17 Suggested Bet: Vermentino to win Market Market
