Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Bendigo Preview Posted on October 29, 2024October 29, 2024 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 AQUEDUCT is one of a number of debutants that have trialled/jumped out well. ELECTRIC ELVIS had a quiet jumpout recently but trialled impressively in NZ before joining the Begg stable. TOPHET bumped into a smart one first up and will strip fitter. SHADHAVAR has jumped out in great style to kick off her second prep. MRS ARCHIBALD and JASMIN ROUGE have claims. Selections: 1,2,6,15 Suggested Bet: Happy to look and learn Race 2 FRAGILE LOVE looks hard to beat. She’s most effective first up and has jumped out well. COUER DE LYON is racing in good form and didn’t have the best of luck behind an in-form galloper last start. WAKANJEJA will likely get back from the low draw and need some luck but will be strong late. SOCIABLE rises in grade after breaking through in good style last start. Selections: 5,4,2,9 Suggested Bet: Fragile Love to win Race 3 Competitive race. JENNY THE BEAVER will be at peak fitness now and stuck on well after covering some extra ground last time. STAND UP FOR ME has been competitive in Country Cups of late. PROPRIETARY measure up well when stepping up to this distance range last start and should be better for that run. The saddle slipped on OFF HIS ROCA last start and his previous form is solid. AUTUMN COLOURS rises in grade but shapes as a promising stayer. Selections: 10,4,7,2 Suggested Bet: Jenny The Beaver each way Race 4 HARRY’S YACHT has measured up ok in some strong races at his last couple. BLACKBERRY BOMB is another that comes through a strong race and may settle closer from a good draw. BELCONY has jumped out well to resume and her form ties in with SAVVYROCKER, who’ll strip fitter second up. Selections: 2,6,8,7 Suggested Bet: Harry’s Yacht each way Race 5 FLOOZIE has jumped out well and looks hard to beat. Her form through Miss Aria and Lady In Pink reads well. ALECTRONA has been kept fresh and races well under those circumstances. VIENNA VIXEN had no luck first up. CATAHOULA did plenty of work before tiring last start. KISSED BY EVIE has trialled well for the new stable. Selections: 13,6,10,12 Suggested Bet: Floozie to win Race 6 SURE ran well when defeated for the first time when resuming. He’ll strip fitter and gets a tongue tie on. HOWLIN’ RAIN has been good at both runs this campaign and will be strong late. SERVED COLD resumes from a lengthy break but has a touch of class and has jumped out well. GIN O’CLOCK is deep into his campaign but is holding his form and will make his own luck. Selections: 3,12,9,2 Suggested Bet: Sure to win Race 7 SEA KING crossed the line with Onesmoothoperator in the Ebor and that form held up well at Geelong last week. BERKELELY SQUARE has retuned in outstanding form and has been given a solid grounding to step up to this trip. FIRST LIGHT didn’t have the best of luck in the Metrop and that form has held up. WHISKY ON THE HILL is a progressive stayer that looks capable of measuring up to this stronger grade. VOW AND DECLARE hasn’t had much luck at his last couple. SUNSETS has come back well and is in the game. Selections: 9,2,6,13 Suggested Bet: Sea King each way Race 8 COLSRIDGE races well here and has jumped out in great style to resume on his home track. MANTUA is racing in terrific form and also races well here. ANILLA has jumped out in good fashion to resume. JEWEL BAY comes through the same race as Mantua and will strip fitter second up. SCULLY may have been in slightly inferior ground first up and will be better for the run. Selections: 6,10,2,9 Suggested Bet: Colsridge each way Race 9 EASY DUN couldn’t build momentum at a crucial stage first up and is drawn to have clear air in the home straight SMART DEEL is racing well, she rises in grade but is likely to appreciate getting down in the weights. YELLOW SAM was ok through the line in much stronger race that was dominated on speed first up. RUMINATE and HOOAH HAVANA (blinkers on) have claims. Selections: 11,12,1,9 Suggested Bet: Easy Dun to win Market Market
