LONG LOST FRIEND won well when leading on debut. He worked home ok after settling off speed last start and it would be no surprise to see him roll forward and give a sight. HYDROGEN POWER has looked good at the jumpouts, particularly on rain affected ground. LE ZEBRA led up and stuck on well in the same race as Long Lost Friends last time and gets blinkers on. OPTUME also led when winning last start and should hold a spot from a low draw and give a sight again. Selections: 9,3,1,10 Suggested Bet: Long Lost Friend each way Race 2 BAY THIRTEEN has jumped out well to resume and appears comfortable on rain affected ground. CHARMED RUN sprinted nicely to win first up and is building a handy record. BERRY BUBBLY has found winning form deep into her campaign and has developed some tactical versatility. BIRDIES GALORE, TANTO and WRITTEN SWOOSH have claims, but hard to put a pen through any of these. Selections: 1,4,2,3 Suggested Bet: Bay Thirteen each way Race 3 DAZZLING LUCY worked through the line nicely in a recent jumpout and gets blinkers on. MISS BALVENIE is unbeaten first up and has jumped out in typically good fashion. OJOSAN likes it wet, she’s jumped out well and will be charging late. VIVIANE has claims on her best form and looked good winning a recent jumpout. GASE GRISE and OUR HEIDI are in the mix. Selections: 4,8,3,9 Suggested Bet: Something on Dazzling Lucy and Miss Balvenie Race 4 UNFLICHING is building an impressive record as a sprinter, not sure how heavy he wants it but he’s handled soft ground well. WOLFLANDS had excuses first up and has jumped out well since then. BLESS HER may be suited coming back to 1000m and rain affected ground. PINTOFF has jumped out nicely for the new stable and is capable first up. HELLO BRADCAST will be strong late dropping back to 1000m. Selections: 3,7,4,2 Suggested Bet: Playing multiples around 3,7 & 4 Race 5 Even race. THOUGH PROVOKING was most unlucky first up in slightly easier company and didn’t have a taxing run. She should still be fresh enough for this trip after that effort. CAP DE JOIE will be strong late coming back slightly to 1600m, she’s had a quiet jumpout between runs. BELLE SAVIOR should appreciate stepping up to 1600m third up off a long break. MARCANA, UNUSUAL CULTURE, GOOD AND PROPER and PERFECT WORLD (blinkers off) are among the chances. Selections: 10,5,2,4 Suggested Bet: Thought Provoking each way Race 6 DASHING has been racing well and may get an opportunity to relax a little better with blinkers off. ELKINGTON ROAD chased well in the same race last start and is unbeaten on heavy ground. EL SOLEADO brings a different form line but looks promising and should cope with the rise in distance. GREY NORTHERN comes through the Dashing race and shapes as trough 1800m will suit. TAPA CAPALL has obvious claims through the same race. Selections: 2,1,4,11 Suggested Bet: Playing multiples with 2,1,4 & 11 Race 7 GLOBE takes a significant rise in grade and isn’t well treated at the weights but has too much upside to overlook. PRINCE OF HELENA likes it wet and comes through some solid form races. VULTAN also likes it wet and gave the impression this trip will suit chasing a talented galloper last time. PORT PHILIP was well below par in a tougher race last start and despite the drop in trip comes into calculations on heavy ground. DAYTONA BAY hasn’t won for a while but continues to race consistently. Selections: 13,8,12,4 Suggested Bet: Globe to win Race 8 PINSTRIPED is drawn out after box seating last time but loos well graded after the claim. GUNSTOCK is a lightly race galloper with plenty of upside, he’s been jumping out well to resume and his wet track credentials are solid. ALVERDUN revelled in the conditions to win a slightly easier race last start. KEATS has been a revelation since joining the Bedggood stable, he drops in grade and can give a sight on the fresh side. MARRONI brings strong NZ form and will be close to peak fitness third up. Selections: 2,3,10,5 Suggested Bet: Including 2,3,10,5 & 6 in quaddie Race 9 OUR REDENTE was forced to chase from a fair way out first up and stuck on well under the circumstances. Expect a quieter ride here and he should be charging late. HE’S OUR BONNEVAL has only been exposed to heavy ground once and has strong soft track credentials. He’s jumped out in good style to resume and is effective first up. PASCERO had no luck first up but appeared to have plenty to offer. ZORRO’S DREAM is yet to win beyond 1200m but is giving the impression he will cope with this trip now. STORMBOLT is on trial at 1300m but gets blinkers off and comes through a strong race. SIG POSITANO has claims should he secure a start. Selections: 12,2,3,8 Suggested Bet: Our Redente each way Market Market
