Warren Huntly’s Saturday Sandown Preview Posted on June 13, 2025June 13, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 YOLO won well when resuming and will strip fitter. HELLO ROMEO had a productive first prep and has jumped out well to resume gelded with winkers off. STREET LEGAL has looked good at the jumpouts for his debut. VICTORY TUNE has shown glimpses of talent and will be strong late. Selections: 4,2,6,7 Suggested Bet: Yolo each way Race 2 TERILEE didn’t have the best of luck chasing an in-form galloper last start and looks hard to beat. LEGACY BAY has jumped out well between runs and shapes as a strong danger. GRINZINGER POD ran well from back in the field in an on pace race last time. FLATTERED is fit and consistent, the wetter the better for her. Selections: 5,8,2,3 Suggested Bet: Terilee to win Race 3 AHHA AHHA impressed winning last time and despite taking on the boys here looks the one to beat again. WHATELEY has returned in great form and can make his own luck. SUPERNIMA looks suited dropping back to 1400m and is drawn for a soft run. HARRY’S YACHT will be close to peak fitness third up and has jumped out nicely between runs. Selections: 8,6,5,3 Suggested Bet: Ahha Ahha to win Race 4 DIRTY GRIN is going well for the new stable and looks suited getting back to 1400m. STYLISH was luckless last time after an impressive first up win. BOLTSAVER is in the game if he gains a start and any give in th ground would be a bonus. FLYING MIKKI and SIR ATLAS have claims. Selections: 3,16,18,12 Suggested Bet: Dirty Grin to win Race 5 EXTREME VIRTUE did plenty of work last time and will be at peak fitness. CINEMATIC STAR ran on well in the same race and has obvious claims along with TRIAL BY PRESS, who won that race. SUANCES is fit, in-form and won a similar race here last start in good style. LADY PAPPYGATE is racing through the grades in good fashion this prep and looks capable of measuring up. Selections: 2,15,11,12 Suggested Bet: Extreme Virtue each way Race 6 NATIONS CALL was safely held by ROADCONE last start but he’ll strip fitter third up and gets a weight swing. Roadcone has impressed racing on speed at his last two victories and is sure to prove hard to catch. HIYAAM PROUD had excuses in Sydney first up and maps well. AZTEC STATE resumes from a lengthy spell but has a touch of class and has been trialling well. Selections: 7,5,6,3 Suggested Bet: Nations Call each way Race 7 MILFORD gets blinkers on back on third up and has done enough at his two runs this prep. SABAN stays down in the weights after the claim and his win her last start was full of merit. EARLSWOOD ran much better than the market expectation first up and maps for a good run. SAYEDATY SADATY may be looking for further after his good run behind Saban but gets right down in the weights with a claim. DUBLIN JOURNAL won well last time and will appreciate a likely improving track. Selections: 6,8,5,10 Suggested Bet: Milford each way Same Race Multi: Milford (Top 2) + Saban (Top 4) Race 8 MANOLO BLING has jumped out well after a solid run at Group level in Adelaide and appears well placed with a claim. HARRY GOT STYLES appreciated coming back to 1000m last start and is drawn for a good run CHINQUI will be part of the speed and can give a sight. TALBRAGAR did enough first up and brings a solid second up record. MOONHAVEN has jumped out well since a plain first up run and is capable of dramatic improvement. ALONG THE RIVER is another with claims in a deep race. Selections: 13,6,12,5 Suggested Bet: Manolo Bling each way Race 9 THE OPEN is most consistent, he should be at peak fitness and has strong claims in an even race. CAFE MILLENIUM ran well at his first run for the new stable and 1400m on Hillside should suit. DETONATOR JACK has been jumping out well to resume and has been competitive in much stronger races. HUGHES is fit, flying and gets down in the weights taking on stronger company. An improving track would enhance the chances of RUNNING BY. Selections: 15,10,2,12 Suggested Bet: The Open each way Market Market
