Race 1

NEW YORK LUSTRE has returned in great from and looks getting back to 1200m should be no concern. MATERIAL DREAMS cashed well first up and will appreciate the extra 100m. IT’S BUSINESS TIME creates interest resuming from a lengthy spell. Her NZ form is strong and she’s been jumping out well. BELLINGER had excuses last start.

Race 2

Even race. MYSTERY ISLAND did enough first up, he’s jumped out in great style since and will appreciate rising in distance. NIGHT ENDEAVOUR is progressing well, he’ll be close to peak fitness and also looks suited by the rise in trip. LE DON DE VIE has been kept up to the mark with a jumpout between runs and isn’t badly treated after the claim. FAME, FIRST IMMORTAL and BELTORO come through a key lead up race and have a case, as they all do.

GOLDENSTATEWARRIOR relished the rise to this trip at Geelong and looked good, albeit given a fairly quiet time in a jumpout between runs. MI ROCK ALY has had a gap between runs but was given a solid test in a recent jumpout and can make her own luck. ROARING ENGINE hit the line well last start and can settle closer. SAMUEL LANGHORNE backs up and should appreciate the extra trip.

Race 4

Another even race. DELTA SKY stuck on ok after covering ground last time and was in outstanding for prior.  NEW YORK SCANDAL worked home strongly in a strong race second up and should appreciate 1400m. QUEBECK is fit and in form. EMPRESSIVE ENUFF and BELTHIL have claims.

Race 5

Plenty to learn. SWORD OF LEGACY ran well on debut behind Cavalry Girl and that form ties in with the highly promising Cherish Me. HOT SEA has been jumping out in great fashion and looks a ready made two year old. FORCEOFONE has impressed at the jumpouts, most recently alongside his stablemate Gin Spirit, who subsequently won on debut in Adelaide. TENTYRIS is another to look good at the jumpouts.

Race 6

Should be a solid tempo here. WINNASEDGE has shown talent in his career to date, he’s jumped out well and will be suited by the tempo. DON’T HOPE DO has been freshened since his impressive victory and jumped out in good style to get back to the track. FRAGILE LOVE is consistent and has claims on the fresh side for the new stable. WOLFLANDS is another that will appreciate the likely solid tempo.

Race 7

Intriguing race with a number of lightly race and promising gallopers. EMPHASIZE impressed at Sale at his second start and his debut behind Zorro’s Flight ties in well. MARY ELIZA was strong through the line breaking her maiden last start and looks suited steeping up to 1800m. MR VERSE, GARNACHO and ENTRUSTING, all fit the bill of lightly raced horses with upside and have claims.

Race 8

REVELARE shapes as a promising staying type and looks hard to beat stepping up in trip from his sit/sprint victory last week. DRAGOON is fit and consistent, he can make his own luck and appears suited coming back in distance. NANA’S WISH should be at peak fitness and gives the impression this trip will be ok. NISHINO CRESCENT impressed in easier company last time and will be strong late.

Suggested Bet: Revelare to win

Race 9

Typically competitive mares stakes race. SHE’S BULLETPROOF will strip fitter and has jumped out impressively between runs. MIRAVAL ROSE has also jumped out in good style between runs and should be fine coming back in trip. QUINTESSA is the proven class runner and won a similar race first up last prep. TASHI has trialled well in Sydney. BIZOT, CHEVAL CHIC and COUER VOLANTE are in the game.

Suggested Bet: She’s Bulletproof each way

Race 10

LETHAL THOUGHTS has returned well and strikes a suitable race third up. WATADEEL struck trouble at a crucial stage first up and will be suited stepping up in distance. SO RISQUE can push forward from the draw and is advantaged coming back to 1400m. IMPENDING LINK will strip fitter for his run behind NAME DROPPER, who was first up, and both have claims.
