Warren Huntly’s Saturday Moonee Valley Preview Posted on April 24, 2025April 25, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 ALL PINK won well first up, she’ll strip fitter and looks likely to settle in a forward position. SALUTED justified the short quote on debut, she may be the leader and give a sight again. YEAH RIGHT has been jumping out well and should be strong late. TETSU BELLE has also been jumping out well enough to respect. BOA VISTA has race experience and her stakes placing last start should hold up ok. Selections: 3,4,1,7 Suggested Bet: All Pink each way Race 2 ELOUYOU won well here with the pattern on side last start. A jumpout between runs may be an indication they’re trying to teach him to relax a touch more? EXTRATWO has performed in higher grade and looks suited coming back in trip with blinkers back on. PRINZERRO can give sight. UMGAWA has jumped out well and could be a late closer. DEEKAY has claims. Selections: 4,2,7,3 Suggested Bet: Elouyou to win Race 3 HAPPY LINK will strip fitter second up. The Treasurethe Moment form line stands out and this race may set up better for her to close off late. MATERIAL DREAMS continues to race well and should be suited getting back to 1200m. SHESALLSHENANIGANS can roll forward from the inside draw and make her own luck. ZEBELLA will be strong late. Selections: 8,2,1,5 Suggested Bet: Happy Link each way Race 4 NEW YORK LUSTRE is one of many horses for the stable that are building impressive records. She’s jumped out in great style and look the one to beat again. PORT ALBERT has a race fitness edge, he likes it here and can make his own luck. FASUTO will likely settle back but will be charging late. Not sure the low draw is ideal for REDOUTE’S NIGHT but has jumped out well and will also be strong late. Selections: 3,1,2,7 Suggested Bet: New York Lustre each way Race 5 LADY IN PINK didn’t have the best of luck in a key lead up race and has jumped out in great style between runs. NICOLINI VITO impressed winning that race and should be even further improved third up. SUPARAZI comes through the same race and is right in the game. EL ROCKO should be ready to fire and any rain would be a bonus. Selections: 3,2,5,9 Suggested Bet: Lady In Pink each way Race 6 VERDOUX is still a raw talent but was beaten by a smart one last start and has jumped out well since that run to race in blinkers first time PRIMAL SPIRIT is going well for the new stable an will give a sight again. CATAHOULA was beaten a bob of the head by Primal Spirit first up, not sure how wet she wants it but you’d think there’s more improvement in her from that ace. BARBARIC LAD and DIRTY GRIN will be closing off late. Selections: 9,4,11,7 Suggested Bet: Verdoux each way Race 7 HARRY’S YACHT has been competitive in stronger races and has jumped out with some intent to resume. EL TERCERO is building a handy record and has the tactical versatility to take advantage of the low draw. FLYER ran as well as the pattern would allow at Bendigo and will strip fitter. GRINZINGER SUN looks promising and Verdoux will have provided a guide on that form line in the previous race. LET’SFACETHEMUSIC has claims. Selections: 5,4,2,6 Suggested Bet: Harry’s Yacht each way Race 8 Even race. KHOR comes through a key lead up race and gets the benefit of a claim from a favourable draw. FORTUNE and PREFERENTIAL also come through that race and it’s easy to argue that luck in running and track conditions will play a major roll in their finishing order this time. SAMUEL LANGHORNE has jumped out well to resume. SUNSETS stuck on ok in the Easter Cup and looks suited dropping in grade with a claim. Selections: 4,3,14,6 Suggested Bet: Khor each way Race 9 LE ZEBRA had excuses in the Easter Cup and the likelihood of some give in the ground should suit. WAIMARE will strip fitter for a solid return, she also handles rain affected ground and can roll forward if so desired. Expect AMBASSADORIAL to settle in a more forward position after an encouraging return for the new stable. GREY ICE and TYPHOON HARMONY have claims. Selections: 1,8,9.7 Suggested Bet: Le Zebra each way Same Race Multi: Le Zebra (Top 2) + Waimare (Top 4) Market Market
