Race 1

BUR DUBAI chased a smart one second up and looks suited by the rise in trip. STEEL RUN comes through the same race and is sure to be improved by that first up run. DSCHINGIS PRESTIGE is another that will appreciate stepping up in distance second up. MI ROCK ALI and KHOEKHOE can give a sight.

Race 2

JENNI MOO MOO gets winkers and a tongue tie and gives the impression she’ll relish 1200m. CHERGUI ran well without the best of luck in the Showdown over 1200m. PRESTIGE FOREVER gave a sight behind an in-form galloper on debut and is bread to appreciate the rise in distance. PURE PASSION hit the line strongly last start and may also be suited stepping up in trip.

Race 3

TOP CALIBRE and PIVOT CITY come through the same race and that shapes as a strong form reference. LUNA CAT will likely drift back from the inside draw and ne charging late. INTERPID EAGLE is racing in good form and handles this circuit well. PRANCING SPIRIT, ELOUYOU and FISSION have claims.

Race 4

EL ROCKO will appreciate the rain leading into the meeting and is capable of improving at decent odds. CAPPER THIRTYNINE seemed to have his chance at Echuca but his previous form reads well for this. STAY FOCUSED may pace himslef better with a recent run over 1600m under his belt. SUN GOD has jumped out well for his local debut. VERDAD had thr right run to finally break through last time and maps for another good run.

Race 5

DASHING DUCHESS is unbeaten here and will strip fitter third up. ZIRYAB is holding his form and can make his own luck MY BROTHERS KEEPER has been chasing some in-form gallopers of late and stays down in the weights. KEATS has jumped out well and should appreciate getting his toe in the ground first up.

Suggested Bet: Dashing Duchess each way

Race 6

SHANWAH has been impressive winning his last three and gives the impression he’ll cope with 2040m. EMPHASIZE may have been ridden ‘upside down’ when starting fav against Shanwah last start and is capable of bouncing back. OPENING ADDRESS drops back from Group 1 company and can give a sight. STATUARIO, also drops back from the same Group 1 and looks suited rising in distance with blinkers off.

Race 7

TOO DARN LIZZIE can make her own luck, handles soft ground and will strip fitter third up. SNEAKY SUNRISE has been building nicely this prep and should also be improved third up. GALA QUEEN beat a smart one in Adelaide and can settle closer from a favourable draw. PHENOM improved nicely second up and will be part of the speed.

Race 8

GRINZINGER BELLE can roll forward from the draw and looks well placed second up. ANOTHER PRPOPHET is a Group 1 winner at this trip and chased a potential star last time. CHARISSE is racing in career best form and gets blinkers back on. LADY JONES, MOLLY BLOOM and WROTE TO ARATAKI are in the game.

Race 9

JIMMYSSTAR was explosive winning he Oakleigh Plate and with any luck from the low draw looks the one to beat again. BENEDETTA didn’t have the best of luck in the Newmarket second up, when she looked to have something to offer. STRETAN ANGEL has run well in the Lightning and the Newmarket and should appreciate getting her toe in the ground.  SHE’S BULLETPROOF was no match for Jimmysstar in the Oakleigh Plate, but is in career best form and races well here.

Race 10

CLEAN ENERGY will strip fitter for one run from a long spell and may have peaked on her tun first up. SCILLATO won that race, she’s building an impressive record and gives the impression 1200m could be ok. AMELITA brings elite form lines through Lady Shenandoah and will strip fitter third up. MADRINA and KHADIME are others with some claims.

Race 11

MYTEMPTATION is displaying admirable race craft early in his career and looks hard to beat again. MOBY DICK is unbeaten first up, has jumped out well, handled soft ground and shapes as a strong danger. HEDGED has also jumped out ok and brings a decent fresh record. EXTRATWO races well here and will strip fitter third up. MAJOR SHARE boasts an impressive winning strike rate and had excuses last time.
