Warren Huntly’s Saturday Flemington Preview Posted on November 4, 2022November 4, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 FRENCH EMPEROR has race fitness and has found good form for the new stable. CHICAGO BEAR has consistent overseas form and his recent jumpouts have been encouraging. UNIANIMOUS has plenty of excuses in Sydney last start and won well her the start prior. BELTORO worked home well first up and boasts an impressive second up record. ADELAIDE ACE is racing consistently. CASTLEREAGH KID has jumped out well and gets blinkers back on. Selections: 14,10,6,13 Suggested Bet: French Emperor each way Race 2 AESOP pulled up with some veterinary excuses last start. His previous win was most impressive and he will appreciate firmer ground than last time. If WUDDZZ gains a start he looks suited stepping up to 2000m following and encouraging Australian debut. FLASH FEELING closed off well staying at 1400m second up and should appreciate rising in distance. KISSINGER and KING’S CHARISMA have claims. Selections: 8,19,12,5 Suggested Bet: Aesop to win Race 3 Good race with some promising types. RUNNING BY ran out of room at Moonee Valley last start and looks like she will relish the step up to 1400m. ANGRY SKIES get winker on, he ran well las start but had his chance. MAGIC TIME was most impressive winning on debut, she is one of a few with plenty of upside. SWEETENED has had little luck since her impressive debut victory and should appreciate 1400m. KINGS CONSORT and ATMOSPHERE have claims. Selections: 11,3,14,16 Suggested Bet: Running By each way Race 4 LUNAR FLARE was unfortunately ruled out of the Melbourne Cup, if she’s able to run to her Cup lead up form then she’ll be hard to beat. PERSAN come through the same race as Lunar Flare, he had his chance there but maps for a great run and gets blinkers back on. GREAT HOUSE is going better than his form suggests and drops back from Group 1 company. SOULCOMBE is the intriguing runner, he’s been impressive coming from off the speed in a number of his international wins. LUNCIES had a wide run in the Geelong Cup and his previous form was solid. Selections: 5,2,4,11 Suggested Bet: Lunar Flare each way Race 5 ATISHU hit the line strongly in the Empire Rose and looks hard to beat on the back up and stepping up in trip. FOXY FRIDA has been progressing well with this race as her target all preparation. HONEYCREEPER had excuses last start and getting Nash Rawiller back on is a positive for her. STEINEM closed off well last start and will appreciate 2000m on a spacious track. GLORY BOUND and DYNASTIES have claims. Selections: 4,7,5,6 Suggested Bet: Atishu each way Race 6 NATURE STRIP did some work in the run in The Everest, but still ran bravely. He’ll strip even fitter and can bounce back. GIGA KICK is an obvious danger, he got past Nature Strip in The Everest and is proven down the straight. BELLA NIPOTINA was the Manikato in devastating fashion last start and doesn’t run poorly. ROCH ‘N’ HORSE, LEVANTE and SEPTEMBER RUN are in the mix for multiple bet types. Selections: 1,14,9,11 Suggested Bet: Nature Strip to win Race 7 PRIVATE EYE boasts an outstanding record. His form this preparation indicates he might be in career best form and the step up to 1600m holds no fears for him. MY OBERON appreciated a solid tempo at Moonee Valley at his first Australian run, but he won impressively and the stable have swapped winkers for blinkers. CASCADIAN is always a chance in these types of races and will be strong late. TUVALA has to rise to WFA but is still on the up and can make his own luck. If MR BRIGHTSIDE and ALLIGATOR BLOOD can be harp enough at the mile then they are in the mix. Selections: 2,9,3,8 Suggested Bet: Private Eye to win Race 8 Great race. ANAMOE isn’t winning by big margins, but he’s finding a way and suspect that will be the case again. I’M THUNDERSTRUCK chased hard behind Anamoe in the Cox Plate and is sure to do so again. The wider draw is probably advantageous to him. ZAAKI looks to control the tempo and wasn’t that far away in the Cox Plate. ELLIPTICAL adds some interest and new blood coming though the elite three year old races. Selections: 7,1,10,2 Suggested Bet: Anamoe to win Race 9 TAUNTING was luckless at Moonee Valley, he’s got speed, but may be able to take a sit behind what looks a strong tempo. TREPORTI has been jumping out well to resume and is right in the mix should he gain a start. ALONG THE RIVER had no luck at Mornington and Direct ties that form in with Taunting. NAJEM SUHAIL broke through for his first Australian win last start and will give a sight on the speed. LEMPICKA ad HYPOTHETICAL are among the better chances. Selections: 6,20,17,9 Suggested Bet: Taunting to win Market Market
