Warren Huntly’s Caulfield Best Bets Posted on July 22, 2022July 22, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly RACE 2 NO.8 BOOGIE DANCER The Peter Moody-trained BOOGIE DANCER is building a nice record and the daughter of Sooboogovercame difficulties in the run to win impressively over 1300m at Sandown last start. At her previous start she broke her maiden strong style besting a subsequent impressive maiden winner in Jenny Jerome. She looks like she will relish the rise to 1400m and with Jamie Kah staying aboard following her last start victory appeals as the best bet on the card. RACE 3 NO.6 MINOUCHE MINOUCHE hit the line well first up over 1200m and the James Cummings-trained filly looks well placed stepping up to 1400m second up. She has shown a degree of tactical versatility in her career to date and should secure a good run for Damien Oliver from what appears to be a favourable draw. The daughter of Written Tycoon is a previous second up winner, with a good record at Caulfield and looks a great each way play on a competitive program. RACE 4 NO.3 FOREST DIAMOND The Ben Brisbourne-trained FOREST DIAMOND is racing in great form and the daughter of Redwood should appreciate getting some weight relief courtesy of the claim for Alana Kelly. She is most adept on rain affected ground and although the track is likely to be improving leading in to the meeting, it still should offer some give. She should obtain a great run from her draw and shapes as one of the better bets on the program. Market Market
