Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on December 30, 2016December 30, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1: NYE AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE FRANCO RAYNER (2) won two on end before not being disgraced in the 4YO Classics during the Inters carnival. He is drawn to lead tonight and should take plenty of catching. HARRY HOO (5) beat VC Manouvre before being unplaced in the three 4YO Classics after striking bad draws and looks the main danger. MACH TIME (6) has been freshened up after losing form and would be right in this at his best. MON LAMOUR (1) doesn’t have the class of her rivals but could sneak a place from the pole. Tips: 2 5 6 1 Suggested Bet: FRANCO RAYNER (2) to win. Race 2: FOLLOW GLOUCESTER PARK ON FACEBOOK WESTBRED MS PACE NEW WORLD ORDER (12) put up an unbelievable performance at his last start when he met interference and must have given the leader 60m start at the 1200 but caught the field and weaved his way through to bring up a stunning win. This field is considerably stronger but he is still the one to beat. FANCI A DANCE (1) has won his last three in easier company and should be in the finish from the pole. RICH YANKEE (2) hasn’t finished further back than 2nd in his last four starts and should be thereabouts again. MISTER VERSACE (5) led throughout last start but will find it harder from here. Tips: 12 1 2 5 Suggested Bet: NEW WORLD ORDER (12) to win. Race 3: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU MS PACE THE TRILOGY (7) wasn’t at his best when 2nd to Mantoman but impressed last start with a close 2nd to PANDORAS SIOUX (8) and looks the one to beat. THE REAL NADAL (1) was placed twice before sitting outside Bettor Reward when a good 5th to that pacer and will appreciate the draw here. TRUSTYTREV (4) has been racing very consistently and should be thereabouts again. PANDORAS SIOUX (8) has won his last two and started favourite when beating THE TRILOGY (7) last start but isn’t as well drawn tonight. Tips: 7 1 4 8 Suggested Bet: THE TRILOGY (7) to win. SuperPick – Race 3 no. 7 THE TRILOGY – Money Back – Run 2nd Race 4: GLOUCESTER PARK – ENTERTAINMENT WITH HORSEPOWER CONDITIONED HANDICAP ULTIMATE MAJOR (2) missed away badly last start but made up plenty of ground when a close 2nd to This Time Dylan and is the one to beat with a better getaway. WALTZING WITH CULLEN (12) has been racing very consistently and had his chance when 3rd in the same race last week and should be thereabouts. MAJOR CATASTROPHE (9) had a very tough run in the same race and will finish closer with a better trip. ASSASSINATOR (8) wasn’t far away when 4th in the same race and could be value again. Tips: 2 12 9 8 Suggested Bet: ULTIMATE MAJOR (2) to win. Race 5: CHRIS LEWIS HEADING TOWARDS 5000 CAREER WINS MS PACE CUT FOR AN ACE (5) is finding it hard to break through for a win in this state but he drops in class and looks the one to beat. He has been disappointing at his last two runs but his previous form was good enough to breeze and win this. BRONZE SEEKER (9) has been racing in stronger company, chasing home Rub Of The Green at his last two starts, and will be charging home if the race is run to suit. HOLY GRAIL (3) is a consistent type and won’t be far away from a nice draw. MIGHTY MAJOR (1) should get a nice run from the pole. Tips: 5 9 3 1 Suggested Bet: CUT FOR AN ACE (5) to win. Race 6: THE COULSON MARES FINAL BETTOR BE SUPREME (2) had no luck in the Mares’ Classics but her form either side of those runs has been impeccable and she is the one to beat here, particularly if she fids the top. EASTWOOD CRYSTAL (1) was a good winner of her heat and has the speed to lead if desired. QUITE A DELIGHT (5) was going to be in the money in the Mares Classic before locking wheels and was a solid 4th in her heat after facing the breeze. JUNGLE JEWEL (12) was a good first up 2nd and will be running on if they go hard early. Tips: 2 1 5 12 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE SUPREME (2) to win. Race 7: THE VILLAGE KID MS PACE BEAUDIENE BOAZ (2) was a good 2nd to Smolda in the last heat of the Inters before a strong 3rd in the final. He is the best drawn of the main chances and is the likely leader and looks very hard to beat. FRANCO NELSON (6) was an unlucky 5th in the Inters final and is a classy customer. MYNAMESKENNY (3) was a good winner last start and is drawn to get a nice run in transit. CHICAGO BULL (4) has a great strike rate and steps up to open company after a good 3rd in the Golden Nugget. Tips: 2 6 3 4 Suggested Bet: BEAUDIENE BOAZ (2) to win. Race 8: TABTOUCH WA PACING CUP FIREWORKS NIGHT – FRIDAY 13TH JANUARY MS PACE BACK ON BOARD (2) has only been placed once in his last 13 starts but won’t get a better chance to break through. He looks the leader and is the one to beat. ATTACK ON COMMAND (5) is in great form and looks a major player. INDOMITABLE (9) was a good 3rd last week and has the turn of foot to overcome the draw. IMA TRAGEDY (3) has been disappointing but could be dangerous if he gets the right run. Tips: 2 5 9 3 Suggested Bet: BACK ON BOARD (2) to win. Race 9: CHINESE NEW YEAR FIREWORKS NIGHT – FRIDAY 24TH FEBRUARY MS PACE LAGOON BEACH (1) hasn’t had much luck in his two WA starts but gets the perfect draw in a weaker field. He has shown gate speed from this barrier in Victoria and should run a big race. KINDA BLACK (12) has beaten stronger fields and can overcome this draw if near his best. LISDELIGHT (3) has been placed at his last two and has a nice draw. FRANCO JOAQUIN (10) should get a nice run on the pegs and can be in the money with a bit of luck. Tips: 1 12 3 10 Suggested Bet: LAGOON BEACH (1) to win. Race 10: HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM GLOUCESTER PARK WESTBRED MS PACE STRAITTOTHEBAR (3) ran 4th to Alkiras Desire when the winner went 1.55.4 at her last start and that form looks very good against this moderate line-up. TAJIES BOY (4) ran 4th to Im Rockaria before finishing 2nd at Northam and must be considered. HAS ANSWERED ALL (7) has a bit of strength about him and can be put into the race. EL SUNAMI (10) had ordinary numerical form before a spell but could get a nice run on the pegs. Tips: 3 4 7 10 Suggested Bet: STRAITTOTHEBAR (3) to win. Bet Now!
