Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on May 25, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1: BOOK INTO THE BEAU RIVAGE RESTAURANT MS PACE HERRICK ROOSEVELT (1) is a top class 3YO who faced the breeze when beating El Barcelona and Runrunjimmydunn in 1.53.8 last start and looks the winner from the pole. ACE BROMAC (3) has been very impressive in winning his only two race starts and is ready for the rise in class. THE STORM CHIEF (12) will be finishing strongly but will be giving his rivals a start. DISCO UNDER FIRE (10) looks a place chance from the trailing draw. Tips: 1 3 12 10 Suggested Bet: HERRICK ROOSEVELT (1) to win. Race 2: $7 PINTS AT JP`S SPORTSBAR MS PACE HOT FRATERNITY (7) has been racing in stronger fields including a last start 3rd to Harry Hoo at big odds. He is drawn wide but looks the class runner of the field and should be finishing strongly. JACKSAGRINNER (1) has been unplaced at his four starts since a Northam win but looks a big improver from the pole. BLINDING LIGHT (3) has been finishing midfield in better company and will appreciate the drop in class. KEEPER OF KEYS (9) is racing extremely well but has a wide draw to overcome. Tips: 7 1 3 9 Suggested Bet: HOT FRATERNITY (7) to win. Race 3: STEELO`S BISTRO AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE NOTHING IN BETWEEN (1) was beaten 2.6m by MCCLINCHIE (7) here on Tuesday and looks capable of turning the tables with the aid of the pole draw. MCCLINCHIE (7) is extremely consistent and can back up his winning performance on Tuesday. THREE KINGS (8) was a narrow 2nd to Overboard Again in stronger company last week but is drawn wider tonight. LIMESTONE BAY (2) will need to lead to be a chance but would be hard to catch if he can cross at the start. Tips: 1 7 8 2 Suggested Bet: NOTHING IN BETWEEN (1) to win. Race 4: BOOK YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE IM MASTER CHARLIE (1) has won three of his last four, including a strong win in the Bridgetown Cup and a victory at Narrogin against weaker opposition. He has the draw to offset the rise in class and should give a great sight. NATURAL DISASTER (5) showed plenty of ability last campaign and resumed with a strong win from the back line and should be in the finish. MILITARY MASTER (3) has won his last three on end in great fashion and must be considered. FOXY DAME (7) has been racing well against the girls but is drawn wide. Tips: 1 5 3 7 Suggested Bet: IM MASTER CHARLIE (1) to win. Race 5: FOLLOW GLOUCESTER PARK ON FACEBOOK MS PACE SOHO WALL STREET (2) has jumped out of the ground at his last three starts with two wins and an enormous 2nd when he was three wide throughout. He goes up a long way in class but his times indicate he can be a winning hope from this draw. CONDRIEU (12) drops in class and would be a good chance if he can replicate his 2nd from two starts back. ERSKINE RANGE (4) also drops in class and would be hard to catch if he crosses. VANQUISHED (3) has disappointed at his last two but is drawn better tonight. Tips: 2 12 4 3 Suggested Bet: SOHO WALL STREET (2) to win. Race 6: THE PURE STEEL FINAL AMERICANBOOTSCOOTA (2) put up an enormous performance last week when working forward to face the breeze and wearing down the leader to win in 1.55.5 over this distance. This field has more depth but he is perfectly drawn. OVERBOARD AGAIN (11) has won two of his three starts back from a spell and should get a nice run in transit. LIVURA (5) beat OVERBOARD AGAIN (11) before finishing a gallant 2nd last week and must be considered. RED HOT MAJOR (1) was a beaten favourite in a weaker field last week but has the drawn the pole. Tips: 2 11 5 1 Suggested Bet: OVERBOARD AGAIN (11) each way. Race 7: MEMBERS SPRINT OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (2) resumes from a spell without a trial but performed very well last campaign. He has excellent gate speed and will be suited by the sprint trip first up. BETTOR REWARD (1) has impressed with a 3rd and 4th behind Heez On Fire at his last two and is drawn to be a major player. RUN ONEOVER (3) led and was just run down last week and will be fitter for that effort. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (8) has the class and will appreciate having Hall Jnr back in the cart tonight. Tips: 2 1 3 8 Suggested Bet: OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (2) to win. Race 8: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP SUNNYS LITTLE WHIZ (10) resumes from a spell after an outstanding campaign where she recorded eight wins and two 2nds from her ten starts. She hasn’t trialled but will be clearly the one to beast if she is near her best. HUDSON BAY (9) has started shorter than $1.40 at his last three starts and been unplaced in all three. He clearly has the ability but has to be taken on trust. IM HAVINABALL (6) has won three of his last four and should be in the finish again. LIGHTNING CALDER (8) can improve with the Voak train in the cart. Tips: 10 9 6 8 Suggested Bet: SUNNYS LITTLE WHIZ (10) to win. Race 9: BOOK A PRIVATE BOX AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE BETTER THAN MONEY (4) worked hard from the back row to find the front when a good Kellerberin winner last start and will be extremely hard to catch if he can use his pace to find the front tonight. ALL THE TORQUE (1) is a good front runner who will have the advantage if he can hold the front at the start and should be in the finish. MOSQUITO BUZZIN (3) is racing fairly and should settle in a nice position. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (10) has finished near the rear at her last seven starts but could be an improver tonight. Tips: 4 1 3 10 Suggested Bet: BETTER THAN MONEY (4) to win. Race 10: TABTOUCH – THE BRAND THAT FUNDS THE INDUSTRY MS PACE ALL ABOUT PINK (1) has finished near the rear at his recent starts but is a different horse when she leads over the sprint trip. She rated 1.54.5 in her most recent win and will be extremely hard to catch if she runs up to that performance. UCANTTAKEITWITHYU (3) might try to cross at the start and would become the one to beat if he could do that. EXCELNSUCCEED (10) recorded back-to-back victories in April and should get a nice run. READY FOR TAKEOFF (4) hasn’t fired in his two WA starts but can improve here. Tips: 1 3 10 4 Suggested Bet: ALL ABOUT PINK (1) to win. Bet Now!
