Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 31, 2019October 31, 2019 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 BETTOR REWARD (1) led throughout from this draw four starts back in 1.52.7. He hasn’t had much luck at his three subsequent runs and looks a major player from the pole tonight. THEREUGO (2) flies the gate and will be hard to beat if he can cross at the start. CARTER MICHEAL (4) is racing extremely consistently and will be suited by the expected early burn. DOMINATE THE DOJO (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and looks a good place chance. Tips: 1 2 4 10 Suggested Bet: BETTOR REWARD (1) to win. Race 2 ROBBIE EASTON (6) ran a brave 2nd to Wildwest before defeating an easier field at a midweek meeting. This is a step back up in class but he should give a great sight. BRAEVIEW BONDI (2) has been impressive in winning his two starts in WA and the rise in class is offset by his lovely draw. ROBB STARK (12) is developing into a non-winner but his form is solid and he must be respected. ABSOLUTION (1) has been placed at his last two starts and should give them something to catch from the pole. Tips: 6 2 12 1 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE EASTON (6) to win. Race 3 EXTREME PRINCE (2) and BAD ROUND (1) took each other on from similar draws in September when both finished at the rear of the field. EXTREME PRINCE (2) has since led throughout and will be hard to beat if he finds the top without doing too much work. BAD ROUND (1) will give a sight if he gets away with a cheap lead or enjoys a nice sit. COMMANDER CHAPEL (12) is first-up after a 30-month absence but has plenty of ability. THE DALI EXPRESS (6) ran a nice 3rd here last week and must be considered. Tips: 2 1 12 6 Suggested Bet: EXTREME PRINCE (2) to win. Race 4 VINCENZO PERUGGIA (3) led throughout here in 1.55.4 two starts back and ran a creditable 2nd from the backline last week and is clearly the one to beat from his nice draw. CRYSTAL SPARKLES (2) has been placed at six of her last eight starts and should enjoy a nice run in transit from this draw. CLARENDEN HUSTLER (11) is capable of producing a big finish off the right run and can be in the money. BETTOR PARTY (1) led throughout to defeat VINCENZO PERUGGIA (3) six starts back but that was over the sprint trip. Tips: 3 2 11 1 Suggested Bet: VINCENZO PERUGGIA (3) to win. Race 5 IM SOXY (1) was placed in six of his last ten starts before a spell but couldn’t break through for a win. He resumes here without a trial but should lead and prove very hard to catch. KING OF SWING (10) was a brave 2nd to Walkinshaw here last start after doing all of the work and should enjoy a soft run behind the leader. MAJOR POCKET (2) was a strong winner in easier company last week and will make his presence felt. CONVERT DENARIO (3) will enjoy a lovely run just off the speed and can be dangerous late. Tips: 1 10 2 3 Suggested Bet: IM SOXY (1) to win. Race 6 MIGHTY CONQUEROR (5) was ultra-impressive in facing the breeze and racing away for an easy victory last start and looks ready for his toughest assignment this time in. MOTU PREMIER (6) has performed well without breaking through since resuming from a spell and will make his presence felt. OUR CORELLI (4) is racing extremely consistently in this class and is capable of winning with the right run. ARGYLE RED (1) led throughout to defeat a similar field in 1.53.8 last start but isn’t as well suited by the extra distance. Tips: 5 6 4 1 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY CONQUEROR (5) to win. Race 7 VIVERE DAMORE (3) is an improving type who put up a career best performance when winning in quick time at her last start. She can roll forward from this barrier and should give a great sight. DELIGHTFULREACTION (6) hasn’t had much luck since leading throughout here three starts back and can play a part. QUEEN SHENANDOAH (8) crosses the Nullabor with very good SA form and must be considered at her first start in WA. PHAR FROM KALAHARI (2) has been placed at her past three starts and shouldn’t be far away again. Tips: 3 6 8 2 Suggested Bet: VIVERE DAMORE (3) each way. Race 8 DRACARYS (1) has won 11 of her 17 career starts and resumes here without a trial. She has produced times that will make her hard to beat if she is close to her top for her return. BILL HALEY (6) arrived in WA with a big boom but wasn’t overly impressive in winning first-up. He has had three weeks since that effort so it won’t be a surprise to see him improve sharply. CARRERA MACH (2) is drawn to get a lovely run in transit and could upset the two fancies. SALEAHS COMMAND (3) is better suited over sprint trips but should be thereabouts. Tips: 1 6 2 3 Suggested Bet: CARRERA MACH (2) each way. Race 9 AMERICAN BRAVE (7) was ultra-impressive in winning his first start in WA but was beaten into 6th behind Our Corelli at his only other start here. He has had 12 weeks between runs and should be ready to show his best tonight. PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING (5) is the other class runner in this field and is drawn inside his main rival. JOE WITH THE FLOW (6) led throughout to defeat Bletchley Park two starts back before suffering an atrial fibrillation and looks the only other winning chance. IT AINT ROYAL (1) can be placed from the pole. Tips: 7 5 6 1 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BRAVE (7) to win. Race 10 IM NOT EYRE (2) has won two of his last three starts and should give a good sight despite the rise in class. TON TINE (8) has been placed at four of his six starts this season and will appreciate the 10m handicap after starting off 70m at his last four runs. LIGHTNING CALDER (9) has only been placed twice in his last 14 starts but his latest effort was full of merit. TENNO SHO (6) will be fitter after having one run back from a spell and can play a part. Tips: 2 8 9 6 Suggested Bet: LIGHTNING CALDER (9) each way. Market Market
