He is drawn poorly but is the best horse in this field. ALL JOKES ASIDE (3) has been racing consistently in stronger fields and looks a winning chance tonight. BATAVIA ON FIRE (10) has been placed at his past ten starts and must be considered on his impressive win at Pinjarra on Monday. ONE OFF DELIGHT (2) has been disappointing but a return to form wouldn’t surprise from this draw. Tips: 9 3 10 2 Suggested Bet: BATAVIA ON FIRE (10) each way. Race 2 SPEED MAN (1) was a solid winner from this draw four starts back before finishing at the rear at his subsequent starts from bad draws. He should get all the favours from the pole and can bounce back into the winners’ circle. SIMBA BROMAC (3) didn’t perform at his top last time in but has had a short break and his best would win this event. SAYING GRACE (5) hasn’t had much luck in his three runs back from a spell and can play a part. MAD ROBBER (11) is better suited off the front but can surprise. Tips: 1 3 5 11 Suggested Bet: SPEED MAN (1) to win. Race 3 MIGHTY SANTANA (4) has been placed at his past two starts, the latest behind the talented Ideal Liner. He is drawn inside his main rivals tonight and looks the one to beat. MICHAEL JOSEPH (9) was a strong winner at his last start before a break and will be thereabouts if he is forward in condition for his return. THE TRILOGY (12) was placed in stronger company three starts back and could be the knockout hope. ONA HAPPY NOTE (1) loves soft trips on the pegs and can be placed. Tips: 4 9 12 1 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY SANTANA (4) to win. Race 4 PATRICKTHEPIRANHA (3) has been unplaced at his last five starts and finished at the rear against a similar field recently but is drawn inside his main rivals tonight and can bounce back. THEO AVIATOR (4) has impressed in winning four of his last six starts and looks a major player again. KNOW WHEN TO RUN (8) comfortably defeated a similar field last start but isn’t as well drawn tonight. ITS ROCKANDROLL (10) is right up to this on ability but this draw doesn’t suit his racing style. Tips: 3 4 8 10 Suggested Bet: PATRICKTHEPIRANHA (3) to win. Race 5 KING OF SWING (11) worked extremely hard but fought on well when 6th here last start and should be right in the finish tonight. HERRICK ROOSEVELT (5) chased hard when a 2.4m 2nd to Chicago Bull here last week and will be suited by the staying journey. MY HARD COPY (4) is crying out for a race with a solid tempo and looks likely to get that here. TACT MAJOR (1) led throughout to defeat Caviar Start three starts back and must be considered from the pole. Tips: 11 5 4 1 Suggested Bet: KING OF SWING (11) to win. Race 6 TYPHOON TIFF (4) defeated Dracarys twice early in the year but lost form before the WA Oaks and finished near the rear in that event. She has had six weeks since that start and would win this if at her best but must be taken on trust. MANDY JOAN (7) has won two of her last three starts and is the filly in form. ALY SHAR (1) has been placed at two of her past three starts in easier company and can play a part from the pole. SOHO INTERCEPTOR (10) is drawn to get a soft trip on the pegs and can be in the money at good odds. Tips: 4 7 1 10 Suggested Bet: TYPHOON TIFF (4) to win. Race 7 BETTOR BE OSCAR (12) resumed from a short break with a narrow but impressive win at Bunbury. He is drawn poorly but has the strength to be right in the finish. LA SULEIMAN (1) was a 1.55.7 winner three starts back and looks a major player from the pole. GOLD HORSESHOE (4) has won two four his four career starts but can do things wrong. OUR VIRTUOSO (5) has finished runner-up at his last three starts and will give a sight if he finds the front. Tips: 12 1 4 5 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE OSCAR (12) each way. Race 8 STORMY NIGHTS (11) is an inexperienced filly who ran a nice 3rd on debut before using the sprint lane to win at her only other race start. She goes to the backline tonight but looks to have more upside than most of her rivals. CARUBA (7) has worked too hard at her last two starts but did defeat STORMY NIGHTS (11) before that so must be respected. ADDA TARANTELLA (3) has been racing well at Wagin and Narrogin and can play a part from this draw. ELLEKER HANOVER (12) is racing consistently and will be running on again. Tips: 11 7 3 12 Suggested Bet: STORMY NIGHTS (11) to win. Race 9 MACZAFFAIR (6), hasn’t been too far away against the state’s best pacers and will appreciate the drop back to mares’ company tonight. LADY DE LA RENTA (2) is racing extremely well and looks the main danger from her nice draw. VEILED SECRET (1) led throughout from this draw in slick time five starts back and must be respected. COME DANCE WITH ME (5) will be charging home if there is a solid early tempo. Tips: 6 2 1 5 Suggested Bet: MACZAFFAIR (6) to win. Race 10 SPACE JUNK (3) over-raced after finding the front when 2nd to CUT ABOVE (7) here a fortnight ago. He should be approaching his top after two runs back from a spell and can turn the tables tonight. LINCS TIGER (5) was a strong 2nd at Bunbury last start and would be hard to catch if he could somehow find the front. CUT ABOVE (7) is racing extremely consistently and can’t be overlooked. AMERICAN DYNASTY (2) was placed at big odds last week and can be in the money again if he steps cleanly. Tips: 3 5 7 2 Suggested Bet: SPACE JUNK (3) to win. Race 11 FIFTY FIVE REBORN (3) followed a promising 2nd to Suing You with an impressive win over Blockjorg. She looks a progressive type and should prove hard to beat tonight. MAGICAL MYSTY (4) was a comfortable all-the-way winner last start and looks the main danger. ADVANCE YOUR DREAM (10) didn’t look comfortable when fancied on debut but ran a nice 5th in a stronger field on Monday and can play a part if she has luck from this draw. STAR IN ART (1) looks a good place chance from the pole. Tips: 3 4 10 1 Suggested Bet: FIFTY FIVE REBORN (3) to win. Race 12 ARISTOCRATIC STAR (1) was forced to run a quick lead time but battled on well when 2nd to Manning here last week and looks the one to beat from the pole. THE STARS ABOVE (2) is a last start winner who will trail his stablemate and looks the obvious danger. MEDIEVAL MAN (3) ran 2nd to THE STARS ABOVE (2) last start and won’t be far away.
