Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 13, 2019June 14, 2019 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 ROBB STARK (9) was a good winner here three starts back and ran on strongly but was nabbed on the line last week. He is drawn poorly again but will still give a great sight. CARRERA MACH (4) finished too good for ROBB STARK (4) last week after enjoying a softer run and must be considered again. LIAM NEIL (2) finished 3rd behind Ideal Liner here last week and could find the top tonight. HIGHROLLER JOE (8) has a nice turn of foot and will be running on again. Tips: 9 4 2 8 Suggested Bet: ROBB STARK (9) to win. Race 2 NATURAL DISASTER (12) raced against the state’s best pacers last time and didn’t disgrace himself. He is first-up from a break and has drawn the back line but his class could be enough for this assignment. ZENNART (5) has finished near the rear at his first two runs back from a break but this is a big drop in class. MAD ROBBER (10) led throughout to record a comfortable win here last week and could be dangerous from his soft pegs draw. EL HOMBRE (1) has been unplaced at his three starts this time in but can improve from the pole. Tips: 12 5 10 1 Suggested Bet: NATURAL DISASTER (12) to win. Race 3 IDEAL LINER (11) continues to race his way through the classes, recording his 7th win from his 10th career start here last week. This looks a tougher assignment but he is still clearly the one to beat. THEREUGO (7) crossed from a wide draw when an impressive last start winner and will give cheek if he finds the top. WARFARE (8) was a dominant all-the-way winner last start but won’t find the lead tonight. SARAH GOODY (2) hasn’t had much luck of late but can improve from this draw. Tips: 11 7 8 2 Suggested Bet: IDEAL LINER (11) to win. Race 4 CHICAGO BULL (7) was upset by WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (2) two starts back but bounced back with a comfortable win here a fortnight ago and should strip fitter again. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (2) has drawn poorly since that win and can be a major player from this draw tonight. MY HARD COPY (5) ran on well to finish 4th at his first run back from a spell and will be charging home. HERRICK ROOSEVELT (3) should enjoy a nice run in the moving line and won’t be far away at the finish. Tips: 7 2 5 3 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (7) to win. Race 5 JAXON JONES (4) has won three of his five starts and led throughout to win his heat. He looks likely to find the top again and should prove hard to catch. MANNING (10) bounced back to his best when a dominant heat winner and looks a major player tonight. VALENTINES BROOK (7) was a game 2nd in his heat after facing the breeze and looks a winning chance. ARISTOCRATIC STAR (2) wasn’t far away in his heat and looks an improving type. Tips: 4 10 7 2 Suggested Bet: JAXON JONES (4) to win. Race 6 SMOLDERING ASHES (2) was a strong winner from a wide draw at this track two starts back and the rise in class is offset by his nice draw. SWEET N FAST (8) found the top when a dominant winner in slick time last start and must be considered despite the draw. LIVURA (12) ran an improved race when 3rd to Mighty Flying Deal here last week and can be right in the finish. MADAME MEILLAND (5) has been fancied at her last few starts but hasn’t been able to get into the race and is capable of improvement. Tips: 2 8 12 5 Suggested Bet: SMOLDERING ASHES (2) to win. Race 7 HEZA HEAD HONCHO (1) attempted to lead throughout last start and was nabbed right on the line by Ruling Gold. This looks slightly easier again and he should prove very hard to beat. BAYLAN JETT (10) trailed Vincenzo Peruggia when 2nd to that pacer two starts back and will be looking for a similar passage tonight. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (2) has been placed at two of his last three starts and shouldn’t be far away from this draw. MUST BE NICE (8) will be a chance if he can reproduce the form of his back-to-back wins in May. Tips: 1 10 2 8 Suggested Bet: HEZA HEAD HONCHO (1) to win. Race 8: MILLWOOD MOLLY (1) has been impressive in winning her last two starts in easier company. This represents a rise in class but she has the pole and looks the one to beat. FAKE NEWS (5) takes on the older mares but her form against her own age group indicates she is up to this assignment. INFINITE SYMBOL (10) doesn’t appear to be racing at her peak but can still play a part from this draw. PUREST SILK (7) was a solid 3rd to Come Dance With Me last start and shouldn’t be too far away. Tips: 1 5 10 7 Suggested Bet: MILLWOOD MOLLY (1) to win. Race 9 THEO AVIATOR (3) was a comfortable winner over Its Rock And Roll before facing the breeze when a brave 3rd to Know When To Run here last week. This looks a perfect race for him and he is clearly the one to beat. TELLMETOATTACK (1) was a strong winner here last start and looks the obvious danger if he is ready for this after a 12-week break. BABYFACE ADDA (8) looks the other class runner of the field but is drawn poorly. HENWOOD BAY (6) has won two of his last three starts but will find this harder. Tips: 3 1 8 6 Suggested Bet: THEO AVIATOR (3) to win. Race 10 MY PRAYER (2) was a solid 3rd behind Majorpride two starts back and looks the winner of this moderate affair. DONT LOOK (3) was a good last-start winner and looks the only danger. YO TE AMO HAITCH (1) showed enough on debut and in her trial to form to indicate she could be placed in this line-up. JOEY GIRL (5) is limited and will settle at the rear but will battle it out for the minor placings. Tips: 2 3 1 5 Suggested Bet: MY PRAYER (2) to win. Market Market
