Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 29, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 DAVINCI DIAMOND (1) was an impressive all-the-way winner over Saying Grace before having no luck but disappointing here last week. He is drawn to lead tonight and is clearly the one to beat. SCOTLYNN BEACH (10) ran a solid 3rd in the same event and looks the main danger from his nice trailing draw. BETTOR FINISH (2) was a solid effort in better company here last week and can play a part from this draw. DESTINED TO RULE (5) needs a solid tempo to be a winning chance but will be finishing strongly. Tips: 1 10 2 5 Suggested Bet: DAVINCI DIAMOND (1) to win. Race 2 SOKYS BIGBULLET (1) hasn’t won for over a year but his recent efforts from the breeze have been sound and he draws the pole tonight. He looks likely to have enough speed to hold up and should give a great sight in that role. KIMANI (10) was zapped by El Jacko last week and then chased hard to finish 2nd to that pacer and will be hard to hold out if he has luck in running. ROYAL MACH (2) is racing consistently and looks a player from this draw. MISTER ARDEE (3) was blocked for a run last start and can figure in the placings. Tips: 1 10 2 3 Suggested Bet: SOKYS BIGBULLET (1) to win. Race 3 WALKINSHAW (7) was an impressive first up winner before having to do too much work in a slick time last week. He is drawn wide over the sprint trip but this looks an easier assignment. LETS CUT LOOSE (6) was racing in better company in NSW than he meets tonight and is first up for the Hall camp so watch the market. ITZ BETTOR TO WIN (4) was a fair 4th at his first run back from a spell and does excel at this distance. NEIGHLOR (2) could be a big improver if he finds the top. Tips: 7 6 4 2 Suggested Bet: WALKINSHAW (7) to win. Race 4 OUR MAX PHACTOR (5) has won nine of his ten starts this campaign, including a strong effort from the breeze against a similar field last week. He is likely to land in the same position again but should still be too classy. CARTER MICHEAL (6) was an eye-catching 4th behind OUR MAX PHACTOR (5) last week and will be running home strongly. OHOKA DARCY (1) has disappointed of late but has blinkers added and has drawn the pole. TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (8) hasn’t threatened lately but drops a long way in class. Tips: 5 6 1 8 Suggested Bet: OUR MAX PHACTOR (5) to win. Race 5 MACZAFFAIR (1) won the York Cup against the boys before being hopelessly held up when 4th to Eden Franco here last week. She is drawn to lead tonight and looks the winner. TRICKY STYX (7) disappointed last week but her previous form in Free For All company makes her the main danger. INFINITE SYMBOL (2) has won three of her five starts this campaign and can be placed from this draw. GOTTA GO GABBANA (8) held on well from the breeze to finish 3rd at big odds last week and could do the same here. Tips: 1 7 2 8 Suggested Bet: MACZAFFAIR (1) to win. Race 6 ANA MALAK (1) came from NZ with a big reputation and stamped his authority with a dominant 37m win at his WA debut. This is considerably harder but he has the pole and looks the one to beat. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (11) was an ultra-impressive last start winner in slick time but goes to the back line tonight. JACK MAC (9) has won 15 of his 16 Australian starts and has untapped potential but has drawn the river. IDEAL LINER (10) is unbeaten in his two race starts and gets a lovely draw to offset the rise in class. Tips: 1 11 9 10 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY CONQUEROR (11) each way. Race 7 THE ART FORM (7) brought up his sixth consecutive win at Northam when using his blistering gate speed to find the top. He is drawn outside of his main rival but is still the one to beat. FIZZING (4) chased hard when 2nd to Stefsbest here last week. He is racing consistently and would give a sight if he could hold out the favourite at the start. MCARDLES GEM (5) has won two of his last three and will be running home again. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (1) is the next best due to her perfect draw. Tips: 7 4 5 1 Suggested Bet: THE ART FORM (7) to win. Race 8 BRIGHT DIAMOND (2) hasn’t been finishing far away from the likes of Jack Mac and Might Conqueror and will appreciate the massive drop in class. He is perfectly drawn and should be winning. EL COMACHO (1) ran 2nd here from the same draw a fortnight ago and looks a great place chance. LOT TWENTY ONE (6) disappointed here last week but his previous form was good enough to be in the finish here. MARQUISARD (8) has the 2nd best form in the race but has a wide draw to overcome. Tips: 2 1 6 8 Suggested Bet: BRIGHT DIAMOND (2) to win. Race 9 MITCH MAGUIRE (7) has won seven of his ten starts this campaign including a dominant 16m win against a similar field last start. He is drawn slightly awkwardly on the inside of the 10m line but should be winning with normal luck in running. AS HAPPY AS LARRY (5) impressed in defeating Our Angel Of Harlem at his first start after a short break and looks the main danger. CRACKA STAR (1) has only been placed once in his last eight starts but can figure in the money from the pole. IMPORTER EXPORTER (8) trialled nicely for his return. Tips: 7 5 1 8 Suggested Bet: MITCH MAGUIRE (7) to win. Race 10 LINCS TIGER (5) was held up when an unlucky 3rd here before finishing midfield behind Stefsbest last week. This represents a drop in class and he can overcome the wide draw. BELTANE (1) has been placed at his three starts in WA and gets his chance to open his winning account from the pole. STARLIGHT BRIGADE (7) was held up last start and his previous form is good enough to make him a player here. ANIME (2) wasn’t that far away in Free For All company last week and is drawn to be thereabouts. Tips: 5 1 7 2 Suggested Bet: LINCS TIGER (5) to win. Market Market
