Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 15, 2018November 15, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 THE TRILOGY (2) attempted to lead throughout when 3rd to Tommy Be Good in slick time three starts back. He hasn’t been able to get into the race at his subsequent runs but looks the likely leader tonight and will give them something to catch. OUR MAX PHACTOR (10) has been ultra-impressive in winning his last eight on end but may need luck from his awkward draw. TYLER BRETT (5) has resumed from a break in great form and looks the other winning chance. GLOW BRIGHT (1) is a place chance if he takes a sit at the start. Tips: 2 10 5 1 Suggested Bet: THE TRILOGY (2) to win. Race 2 ARGYLE RED (4) has finished towards the rear at his past four starts but drops considerably in class tonight. He has very good gate speed and will be extremely hard to catch if he can find the front. TISADREAM (8) was a strong 3rd at his first run back from a break before knocking up after facing the breeze. He is the other class runner of the field and looks the main danger. SOHO WONDER (1) and BRAVO TEX (10) are both racing consistently and should enjoy soft runs on the pegs. Tips: 4 8 1 10 Suggested Bet: ARGYLE RED (4) to win. Race 3 HANDSANDWHEELS (11) has won five of his past seven starts and appeals as the class runner here. He worked too hard to find the front when 4th to Khun Ratha at his last start and has the turn of foot to overcome the backline draw. LIVURA (5) hasn’t had much luck this campaign and could be the value runner. SIGHTSEEING ANVIL (1) was a beaten favourite from this barrier last week when he was crossed at the start but must be considered again. MISTER ARDEE (4) was impressive in causing an upset win and can be thereabouts again. Tips: 11 5 1 4 Suggested Bet: LIVURA (5) each way. Race 4 DODOLICIOUS (7) has a losing sequence of 19 and resumes here without a trial but is the class mare of this field. She raced in stronger company last campaign and looks capable of overcoming the wide draw tonight. PARISIAN PARTYGIRL (2) has been placed at six of her past seven starts and will be thereabouts again from this draw. MILLVIEW SIENNA (3) had no chance at her first run back from a spell but looks a big improver here. MILLWOOD BRANDY (5) is racing consistently and won’t be far away. Tips: 7 2 3 5 Suggested Bet: DODOLICIOUS (7) to win. Race 5 TRICKY STYX (1) took a sit from this barrier when a close up 3rd to Vampiro. She is likely to try to hold the front over the sprint trip tonight and should give them something to catch. GALACTIC STAR (6) was a narrow but impressive winner of the Pinjarra Cup and has the turn of foot to be dangerous late. OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (3) was a strong first-up 2nd behind Vampiro and can make his presence felt. IM FULL OF EXCUSES (2) battled on well to finish 4th in the same event and should be thereabouts from this draw. Tips: 1 6 3 2 Suggested Bet: TRICKY STYX (1) to win. Race 6 BECHERS BROOK (3) was a brilliant winner here three starts back and lost no admirers when chasing home Jack Mac at Pinjarra last week. He should settle in a handy position and is proven in this class. THINK ABOUT ME (1) has been ultra-impressive in winning his two starts since crossing the Nullabor. This is a big rise in class but that is offset by his perfect draw. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (2) has won six of his seven race starts and ready to step up in class. GOLDEN STATE (5) disappointed last start but can’t be overlooked. Tips: 3 1 2 5 Suggested Bet: BECHERS BROOK (3) to win. Race 7 CHIAROSCURO (1) tried hard to hold out Thereugo last week but couldn’t quite do so and then was held up til too late when 3rd to that pacer. He has a similar challenge tonight but may be able to hold up tonight. WESLEY (4) began brilliantly to cross from the outside barrier and led throughout in 1.56.5 last start and will be attempting to repeat that formula. EL MACHINE (7) hasn’t been placed in a while but is getting down in class. ONE FOR SASSY (10) disappointed on Monday from a similar draw but could be placed on his previous form. Tips: 1 4 7 10 Suggested Bet: CHIAROSCURO (1) to win. Race 8 LINCS TIGER (10) comfortably won two easier events in September and has been unplaced in stronger fields at his past three starts. This looks more to his liking and he is clearly the one to beat despite his backline draw. MACHIATTO (8) loves the sprint trip and will give a great sight if anywhere near his top after a break. SUNROSE VILLAGE (6) has been racing in stronger company and can make his presence felt. BLISSNTHEBLACK (2) has been placed at three of his past four starts and should be thereabouts from this draw. Tips: 10 8 6 2 Suggested Bet: LINCS TIGER (10) to win. Race 9 JUST BET ON BLACK (2) hit the line nicely at his first start back from a year away from the racetrack and can be a big improver from his lovely draw tonight. ESTOCADA (4) backed up a solid Bunbury victory with a brave 2nd here last week and looks a major player. MCARDLES GEM (5) was well driven and sprinted brilliantly when a dominant winner here last week and can go on with it now. YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH (9) had no luck from the pole when a beaten favourite last start but now has a horror draw to overcome. Tips: 2 4 5 9 Suggested Bet: JUST BET ON BLACK (2) to win. Race 10 INFINITE SYMBOL (5) won her first two starts back from a spell before locking wheels and losing a heap of ground before running a huge 3rd to Beach Goddess. She is drawn inside her main rival tonight and will give a great sight. OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM (9) had no luck with barriers in her Victorian campaign but is a classy mare and can overcome her wide draw. ANIME (4) ran 3rd behind INFINITE SYMBOL (5) three starts back and can be placed again. TUAS DELIGHT (11) has a nice trailing draw and can be in the money. Tips: 5 9 4 11 Suggested Bet: INFINITE SYMBOL (5) to win. Market Market
