Race 1

FRANCO ECUADOR (5) has only had four starts since running a game 3rd in the WA Derby four years ago but has plenty of ability. He was a dominant first-up winner against a weaker field and is clearly the one to beat. THE MIKI TAKER (9) has resumed with two placings in good time after facing the breeze and is the other class runner in this field. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA (2) could be the early leader and he looks a big improver. MIGHTHAVTIME (12) has been placed in ten of her past 11 starts and will be charging home again.

Tips: 5 9 2 12

Suggested Bet: FRANCO ECUADOR (5) to win.

Race 2

NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (1) was stood down after her only run last time in but has trialled brilliantly for her return and is the one to beat from the pole draw. TIGER ROYAL (5) was a game 2nd to Pinny Tiger after facing the breeze at his last start and looks the main danger.  SUGAR APPLE (4) has recorded a win and 2nd in good time at his last two starts and should play a part again. ADDA SPOILT MAJOR (10) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but can be placed from his nice trailing draw.

Tips: 1 5 4 10

Suggested Bet: NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (1) to win.

Race 3

IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (2) was a strong 1.54.4 winner from the breeze here two starts back and is clearly the one to beat tonight after drawing inside his main rivals. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (3) was only 10m from the winner when 9th behind Minstrel first-up and will appreciate the drop in class. AMERICAN BULLITT (1) will be crossed at the start but looks a good place chance. ACUTO (4) is racing well and can be in the money at odds if he enjoys the right trip in transit.

Suggested Bet: IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (2) to win.

Race 4

ARMA EINSTEIN (6) was placed behind the likes of Magnificent Storm and Lavra Joe in his five starts before a short break and should give a great sight tonight. FINVARRA (9) couldn’t get into the race but hit the line nicely first-up and can be driven more aggressively against this field. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (1) is a good front runner who is capable of giving plenty of cheek from the pole. GALACTIC STAR (4) was only beaten a head in Free For All company two starts back and s suited back to this grade.

Tips: 6 9 1 4

Suggested Bet: ARMA EINSTEIN (6) each way.

Race 5

MINSTREL (8) has won his last four on end and will find this harder from out here but will run a big race if he can find the breeze without having to work too hard. IDEAL AGENT (4) resumed with a dominant win before running a narrow 2nd to his stablemate and can turn the tables. JAWSOFLINCOLN (7) has impressed in. his three runs in WA and will be hard to catch if he can cross at the start. TRICKY MIKI (1) led throughout to win the Golden Nugget at his last start and must be considered from the pole.

Tips: 8 4 7 1

Suggested Bet: MINSTREL (8) each way.

Race 6

THREE RUMOURS (6) has only won one of her last eight starts but her efforts have been full of merit and she looks the one to beat tonight. BEYOND THE SEA (1) chased hard when 3rd to Steno in 1.51.9 here last week and should give a great sight in front here. MACHS LEGACY (5) ran on into 5th in that race and looks a good place chance tonight. ZEPHYRA (8) hasn’t been seen since disappointing as a $1.80 favourite a month ago but has plenty of ability.

Tips: 6 1 5 8

Suggested Bet: THREE RUMOURS (6) to win.

Race 7

COWBOYS N BANDITS (6) followed a good all-the-way win with a solid 2nd from the breeze and should fight out the finish again. HES NEVER BEEN BETA (7) disappointed backers as a $1.55 favourite first-up but he can improve sharply. ROCKABALL (8) has been placed in his last three starts and he will be charging home. FRANKIE J HOLDEN (5) found the front and defeated COWBOYS N BANDITS (6) two starts back and can cause an upset again with the right run.

Tips: 6 7 8 5

Suggested Bet: COWBOYS N BANDITS (6) to win.

Race 8

HOTLY PURSUED (9) led throughout to defeat the talented Jawsoflincoln here last week and is the one to beat despite the wide draw. LUCAPELO (8) faced the breeze and battled on well to finish 5th here last week and is better suited with cover. BALINGUP BOY (3) started from a wide draw and was a strong 3rd to Vegas Strip here on Tuesday and can make his presence felt from this barrier. TRAVELBAN (6) did too much work at his last run but won his two previous starts and can figure.

Tips: 9 8 3 6

Suggested Bet: HOTLY PURSUED (9) to win.

Race 9

TEN TO THE DOZEN (1) led throughout at his first run back from a spell before leading when 2nd at Pinjarra and should give them something to catch here. THENU CAME ALONG (2) has finished just behind the polemarker at his two starts back from a spell and won’t be far away again. MENEMSHA (4) resumes here without a trial but he won the Pearl and Westbred Classic at his last two starts before going for a spell and must be respected. THELITTLE MASTER (5) finished 3rd behind his stablemates first-up and can be placed.

Tips: 1 2 4 5

Suggested Bet: TEN TO THE DOZEN (1) to win.

Race 10

PONZI BEACH (6) challenged for the early lead and didn’t have much luck when 8th here last week and can improve sharply tonight. HERE COMES SHARKIE (1) ran on well to finish 2nd in that event and looks a major play from the pole. MADDY ROCKS (11) finished 3rd in the same race to continue her good form and must be considered again.  ACOLTNAMEDSU (5) finished 4th in that event after being held up at a crucial stage and can figure.

Tips: 6 1 11 5
