Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 2, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 THE TRILOGY (5) led throughout at Kellerberrin before jumping in class and running a brave 3rd in Free For All company here last week. He has good gate speed and will be hard to catch if he can find the front. IM SOXY (1) is likely to be crossed from the pole but follows pace well and will be dangerous late. THEREUGO (9) has blinding gate speed and will become the one to beat if he crosses early. COURAGE TELLS (2) is drawn to get a lovely run just off the speed and can be in the money. Tips: 5 1 9 2 Suggested Bet: THE TRILOGY (5) to win. Race 2 TISADREAM (6) resumed from a spell with a brave 3rd in 1.55.2. This looks an easier assignment and he should be fitter for his first-up run. BRAVO TEX (1) hasn’t seen the pegs for quite a while and should be a big improver from the pole. DONTSTOPBELIEVIN (7) has won her last three starts and must be considered but looks set for a tough run tonight. LIVURA (3) needs races run to suit and hasn’t had that at all this campaign so could represent value in this event. Tips: 6 1 7 3 Suggested Bet: TISADREAM (6) to win. Race 3 MAXENTIUS (5) was an impressive first-up winner and then put up a huge performance when 2nd to Bechers Brook. This looks no harder and he should prove hard to beat. HANDSANDWHEELS (6) won four of his last five before a spell and resumed with a comfortable all the way victory. He will become the one to beat if he can cross at the start. KHUN RATHA (1) couldn’t get into the race at his first back from a break but is drawn a lot better tonight. EXTREME PRINCE (10) can be in the money from his nice trailing draw. Tips: 5 6 1 10 Suggested Bet: MAXENTIUS (5) to win. Race 4 BENHOPE RULZ (11) has won five of his seven starts this campaign, including a comfortable all-the-way victory here last week. He goes to the back line tonight but has shown his versatility in previous wins. DANIELJOHN (1) had a perfect run in transit when 2nd in a stronger field last week and must be considered again. SUSPICIOUS LIFE (6) caused a minor upset when winning in quick time last start and has the gate speed to put himself into contention. THE STORM CHIEF (2) should get a nice run and won’t be far away. Tips: 11 1 6 2 Suggested Bet: BENHOPE RULZ (11) to win. Race 5 VAMPIRO (3) was a strong winner from the breeze in 1.55.2 last start and can dominate this event from his nice draw tonight. TRICKY STYX (1) is always capable of figuring in the finish in this company when she is drawn well and should enjoy a lovely run tonight. ROCKNROLL LINCOLN (7) has proven himself to be up to this class but has a tough draw to overcome. TOMMY BE GOOD (2) upset a field of similar strength last week and can cause another upset if he gets the right breaks again. Tips: 3 1 7 2 Suggested Bet: VAMPIRO (3) to win. Race 6 YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH (1) has won two of his last four starts, including a solid win here recently against similar opposition. He has drawn the pole tonight and looks set for an all-the-way victory. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (10) has only been placed at one of her last six starts but is drawn to get a lovely run and can be in the money. WABI SABI (11) chased home Golden State when 3rd to that pacer on Monday and will appreciate the drop in class. STROGANOFF (2) was a solid 3rd at his last start and is drawn to play a part. Tips: 1 10 11 2 Suggested Bet: YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH (1) to win. Race 7 BETTOR FINISH (4) has been placed at four of his six starts this campaign and gets his chance to break through tonight. He was an eye-catching 3rd to Thereugo here before running into trouble behind Bechers Brook and will appreciate the huge drop in class. JUST BET ON BLACK (7) is first-up from a 12-month break but will be hard to beat if anywhere near his top. THE REDEEMER (1) has battled bad barriers recently and should be an improver from the pole. STARLIGHT BRIGADE (2) can be placed if he reproduces his last start effort. Tips: 4 7 1 2 Suggested Bet: BETTOR FINISH (4) to win. Race 8 MITCH MAGUIRE (6) has won six of his nine starts this campaign and had no luck when down the track in stronger company last week. COSTA DEL MAGNIFICO (7) has been unplaced at his eight starts this campaign but wasn’t far away when 5th to Vampiro last start and is getting down in class. BETTER B CHEVRON (8) was a comfortable all-the-way winner last start but isn’t as well suited here. SWIMBETWEENTHEFLAGS (1) looks a great place chance from the pole. Tips: 6 7 8 1 Suggested Bet: MITCH MAGUIRE (6) to win. Race 9 INFINITE SYMBOL (5) has resumed from a spell with two comfortable all-the-way victories. This looks harder but she will be fitter for those two wins and is the one to beat. OUR ALFIE ROMEO (8) won five on end to start this campaign before breaking and finishing at the rear at his last two runs. He has plenty of ability but must be taken on trust. BEACH GODDESS (4) was a strong last start winner and will give cheek if she can find the pegs. PARISIAN PARTYGIRL (9) produced a career best run last week but is drawn poorly. Tips: 5 8 4 9 Suggested Bet: INFINITE SYMBOL (5) to win. Race 10 LUIS ALBERTO (2) resumed from a break with a 1m 2nd to Benhope Rulz in slick time. He is perfectly drawn tonight and is clearly the one to beat. WESLEY (9) has very good gate speed and would give them something to catch if he could cross from this draw. MISS STONEBRIDGE (5) couldn’t get into the race at her last start but her previous form was good enough for this assignment. THE ARSONIST (8) had no luck at his first run back from a long break and will strip fitter tonight. Tips: 2 9 5 8 Suggested Bet: LUIS ALBERTO (2) to win. Market Market
