HECTOR (2) was well-backed at his WA debut but contacted a sulky in the early stages and trailed the field throughout. He is well drawn here and is the obvious danger. ADDA SPOILT MAJOR (12) and TIGER ROYAL (4) are racing well but is hard to see either of them upsetting the favoured pair. Tips: 1 2 12 4 Suggested Bet: RAVEN BANNER (1) to win. Race 2 ARMA EINSTEIN (1) ran on well to finish 3rd to Classic choice at his first run back from a spell and looks the one to beat after coming up with the pole draw over the sprint distance. KIMBLE (5) ran on well to finish 2nd in that same event and looks a major player again. MASTER YOSSI (2) overcame a back line draw to win here at his last start and the rise in class is offset by his nice draw. JAMES BUTT (4) is always a chance with right run in transit and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 1 5 2 4 Suggested Bet: ARMA EINSTEIN (1) to win. Race 3 WONDERFUL TO FLY (4) had won 21 of her 31 career starts including her last ten before going off at the end of her last campaign. She trialled nicely for her return and should give a great sight after drawing inside her main rival. NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (5) is the proven performer at this level and her versatility will make her hard to beat. SIMPLY SHAZ (2) was an impressive winner against easier company at her last start and is capable of causing an upset if the breaks go her way. SHEEZ OUR HOPE (8) looks back to her best but is drawn wide. Tips: 4 5 2 8 Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (4) to win. Race 4 IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (7) blew the stand at his last start but he ran four consecutive 2nds before that and he should break through in this company soon. EZANA (10) showed plenty of ability in his last campaign that finished with an all-the-way victory over Ragazzo Mach but he has an awkward draw to overcome first-up. WILL I ROCKNROLL (9) was a good 2nd at his first run back from a spell but is drawn poorly. ONESMARTFELLA (3) finished a solid 3rd at his last start and is drawn the best of the main chances. Tips: 7 10 9 3 Suggested Bet: IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (7) to win. Race 5 STREET HAWK (3) has followed a comfortable first-up win with three consecutive 2nds where he has had to work hard in the run. He has the barrier advantage over his main rivals and appeals as the one to beat. TRICKY MIKI (8) proved to be the state’s best 3YO when taking out the Western Gateway and WA Derby at his last two starts before going for a spell. He is first-up without a trial and is drawn wide but is too good to overlook. THE MIKI TAKER (5) ran on nicely to be placed over the sprint trip last week and is better suited at this distance. ETON ROCK (2) is well drawn and shouldn‘t be far away. Tips: 3 8 5 2 Suggested Bet: THE MIKI TAKER (5) each way. Race 6 PATCHED (5) has won four of his last five starts against similar line-ups with the failure being when he broke out of the mobile. He would be better suited over a longer trip but is still clearly the one to beat. LINE THE STARZZZ (4) had a 20m advantage over PATCHED (5) when he led and ran a 3m 2nd to the favourite and looks likely to fight out the finish again. PEACHEE (8) ran on well to finish 3rd in that event and will be charging home again. DARK SECRET (3) is reliable trotter who is always thereabouts but struggle to win in this company. Tips: 5 4 8 3 Suggested Bet: PATCHED (5) to win. Race 7 AUGUST MOON (8) has been ultra-impressive in beating almost identical fields at her three starts this time in and is clearly the one to beat. CABSAV (2) didn’t look at her best at her first three runs back from a spell but looked a slot sharper when 2nd to AUGUST MOON (8) at her last start and looks the only danger to the favourite. FLY TO FAME (5) is racing consistently but had her chance to beat AUGUST MOON (8) two starts back and is hard to see her turning the tables. GLIDING STAR (1) is an inexperienced but improving type who can be placed. Tips: 8 2 5 1 Suggested Bet: AUGUST MOON (8) to win. Race 8 IM THEMIGHTYLUCY (2) has a form line that is difficult to assess against this field but her times indicate that she would be hard to catch over the sprint trip if she found the front. DEEORSE (1) normally races with a sit but may be tempted to hold up over this distance and should be thereabouts under either scenario. TINSELTOWN (3) drops in class tonight and does his best work when he races up on the speed. TWOBOB CRACKER (4) had no luck here last week and can play a part. Tips: 2 1 3 4 Suggested Bet: IM THEMIGHTYLUCY (2) to win. Market Market
