BRONZED (8) used his dazzling gate speed to lead throughout from a similar draw at his last start and will be hard to catch if he crosses at the start. MAJOR MANHATTAN (2) is first-up without a trial but is drawn inside his main rivals and showed ability in his first campaign. CABSAV (7) has two wins and two 2nds from her last four starts and is capable of taking it up to the boys here. Tips: 5 8 2 7 Suggested Bet: LUCAPELO (5) to win. Race 2 TALKS UP A STORM (1) raced well in the Nights Of Thunder series, including a 2nd to Pinny Tiger in 1.51.8. He looks the likely leader from the pole and will be hard to beat under that scenario. SOCRATES (10) is drawn to trail the favourite and looks the obvious danger after his 2nd to Ideal Touch here last week. CARRERA MACH (2) is back to his best form and shouldn’t be far away from his nice draw. MIRRAGON (7) disappointed at his last start but is likely to make his presence felt in the early stages and can bounce back. Tips: 5 2 8 10 Suggested Bet: TALKS UP A STORM (1) to win. Race 3 HANDSANDWHEELS (7) has been placed in four of his six starts back from a spell and is ready to break back into the winners’ circle. CORDERO (1) ran on well from near the rear to defeat a weaker field in good time on Tuesday. He is better known as a sit-sprinter but has options from the pole tonight. ROCKABALL (3) is drawn to settle just off the speed and is always dangerous with the right run. JAMES BUTT (2) led throughout in 1.54.4 here last week and will give a sight if he finds the front. Tips: 7 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: HANDSANDWHEELS (7) to win. Race 4 MACHNIFICENT (4) bounced back to his best at his last start when the race was run to suit and he recorded a 1.53.0 win at this track. He will need a solid early tempo and will be charging home. PRADASON (1) goes up in class but is drawn to lead over the sprint trip and will give a great sight. THE IDEAL TOUCH (3) was a strong all-the-way winner here last week and looks a major player again. GALACTIC STAR (2) caught the eye at his last start and should play a part from his nice draw. Tips: 4 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: MACHNIFICENT (4) to win. Race 5 PATCHED (7) has finished further back than 2nd only once in his last 15 starts and he was a strong winner at his last start. He has a 20m advantage over his main rival and he should give a great sight. TRICKY RIC (11) extended his winning sequence to nine with a comfortable all-the-way victory at his last start and will be hard to beat again. CHUMANI (1) and PAPA RAZZI (2) don’t have the class of the two favourites but are reliable trotters and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 7 11 1 2 Suggested Bet: PATCHED (7) to win. Race 6 HAMPTON BANNER (1) didn’t make an impact in the Cups but draws to lead over the shorter trip in a race that looks to be devoid of pressure so he is the one to beat. PATRONUS STAR (4) didn’t have much luck in the Cups and will be hitting the line strongly. PERFECT MAJOR (2) has had absolutely no luck and may elect to be put into the race tonight. GLENLEDI CHIEF (5) is racing as good as any horse in the field but is drawn poorly and will need the race run to suit. Tips: 1 4 2 3 Suggested Bet: HAMPTON BANNER (1) to win. Race 7 NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (8) has impressed in winning her last two starts from the breeze and has the strength to overcome the wide draw here. BEYOND THE SEA (6) has run on from near the rear to win her last three starts and must be respected again. PAROQUET (2) led throughout here last week and should find the front and give a great sight again. CHERISHTHEMEMORIES (5) is racing extremely well but does not look to map well in this event. Tips: 8 6 2 5 Suggested Bet: BEYOND THE SEA (6) each way. Race 8 ROCK ME OVER (1) caught the eye when a held up 3rd here last week at his second run back from a spell and appeals as the one to beat from the pole. MEDIEVAL MAN (10) drops in class for this assignment and has options at the start as he is the only horse on the back line. ULTIMATE ROCKER (2) has good gate speed and attempted to lead throughout when a close-up 3rd three starts back and should play a part from his nice draw. AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (3) was a solid 2nd in the Busselton Cup and should enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Tips: 1 10 2 3 Suggested Bet: ROCK ME OVER (1) to win. Race 9 ALCOPONY (1) has won two of his last four starts and is clearly the one to beat if he can hold up from the pole. VULCAN STAR (9) is the class runner of the field but will need a strong early tempo to help him overcome the wide draw over the sprint trip. MASTER LEIGHTON (2) has been unplaced at his past 12 starts but can be a big improver from this draw. HEZA HEAD HONCHO (3) attempted to lead throughout when a close-up 3rd over 2536m at his last start and is better suited at the shorter distance here. Tips: 1 9 2 3 Suggested Bet: ALCOPONY (1) to win.
