Race 1

MAUNGATAHI (10) has impressed in leading throughout at his last two starts but is also capable with a sit if he can see daylight at the right time from his awkward draw. ALCOPONY (4) is the best drawn of the main chances and will be hard to catch if he can find the front. LOUCID DREAMS (11) wasn’t far away in the WA Derby two starts back and will enjoy a nice run in the moving line tonight. CYCLONE CHARLOTTE (7) is drawn poorly and goes up in class but is a filly with plenty of potential.

Race 2

OUR SHELLEY BEACH (10) was an impressive winner here two starts back before being blocked for a run from this draw at his last start. He will need luck from this barrier but will be charging home if he does see daylight. IFEEL SIKDARL (1) led when a close 2nd here last week and looks suited over the sprint trip. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (2) hasn’t had any luck at his last two starts but should play a part from his nice draw here. VULCAN STAR (4) has finished near the rear from bad draws at his last two starts but looks a big improver tonight.

Race 3

EZANA (3) has been unplaced but not far away in his last two starts in hot 4YO company and will appreciate the drop in class tonight. RAGAZZO MACH (4) caught the eye in the Free-For-All event here last week and looks the obvious danger. MIRRAGON (11) hadn’t been racing at his best but his last start 4th had plenty of merit and he can run a race at odds. COOL WATER PADDY (2) led throughout here two starts back and comes into contention if he can cross the polemarker at the start.

Suggested Bet: EZANA (3) to win.

Race 4

IMA ROCKABILLY REBEL (12) ran two solid 2nds before recording a narrow but impressive win here last week and is capable of overcoming the backline draw. MASTER PUBLISHER (11) has won two of his last four starts and should settle just behind the speed in the moving line. ORLANDO BLUE (2) didn’t have much luck at his first run back and will give them something to catch if he can find the front. GLENLEDI CHIEF (10) will need luck from this draw but will be hitting the line strongly if he sees daylight.

Suggested Bet: IMA ROCKABILLY REBEL (12) each way.

Race 5

PATRONUS STAR (1) is better known as a sit-sprinter will be tempted to press for an all-the way victory here over the sprint trip. MAGNIFICENT STORM (5) has an awkward draw to overcome but he was a dominant winner at his last start and must be respected. GAMBIT (4) is flying and is capable of winning this event with the right run in transit. HAMPTON BANNER (2) loves the sprint trip and will give a great sight if he finds the front.

Suggested Bet: PATRONUS STAR (1) to win.

Race 6

THREE RUMOURS (4) is racing consistently in better company and looks the one to beat from a nice draw tonight. BOORAA (9) drops in class on her last start 4th to Eighteen Carat and she can give a sight at each way odds despite the draw. FORBIDDEN JEWEL (11) led throughout to defeat a weaker field first up and should be finishing strongly here. DIAMOND DAZE (2) couldn’t get into the race here last week but should improve sharply from her nice barrier.

Suggested Bet: BOORAA (9) each way.

Race 7

COOPER (2) lost his winning chance when he reared at release last week but will give a great sight if he can jump to the front here. HIMSELF (11) is the class runner of the field and has the strength to overcome the 40m handicap. AUSSIE SCOOTER (4) is racing consistently in this company and should be thereabouts again. FIREROCKFIREROLL (8) had the right run when defeated a similar field from the same handicap last week and must be considered again.

Suggested Bet: COOPER (2) each way.

Race 8

BLITZEMBYE (4) led throughout in 1.54.9 from a similar draw two starts back and he will be hard to catch if he can cross at the start again. TENZING BROMAC (5) didn’t have any luck in the two 4YO Classics and the awkward draw is offset by the drop in class. VIVERE DAMORE (1) races well on the pegs and should be thereabouts from the pole. RASCAL (3) should enjoy a nice run just off the speed and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: BLITZEMBYE (4) to win.

Race 9

BETTORSTARTDREAMING (1) hasn’t had the opportunity to lead for some time and he looks the one to beat from the pole over the sprint trip. ALTA RHETT (12) drops significantly in class for this assignment but has a tough draw and the sprint trip to overcome. HEZA HEAD HONCHO (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and looks a great place chance. MARQUISARD (2) has struggled from wide draws at his last two starts but ran a nice 2nd at his previous start and can play a part.

Suggested Bet: BETTORSTARTDREAMING (1) to win.

Race 10

FLY TO FAME (6) was an impressive winner against a similar field at her last start and appeals as the one to beat again. CABSAV (7) has been placed in four of her past five starts and looks the obvious danger despite having five weeks between runs. VALENTINATHEBULLETT (4) has improved considerably at her last two starts and a win here wouldn’t surprise. SEAGRASS (1) has the draw to be prominent throughout and can be placed.
