Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on May 26, 2022May 26, 2022 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 PRADASON (1) is in peak form and has won three of his last four starts. The rise in class is offset by his perfect draw and he should lead and prove hard to catch. ROBBIE ROCKET (9) chased hard when 2nd to Pinny Tiger here in. 1.53.6 last week and is the class runner of the field but has a tough draw to overcome. SECRET OPERATION (10) finished near the rear in that event but can be placed from this draw. MOONLITE DRIVE (3) finished midfield in that event and must be considered in his recent form which includes two wins at this track. Tips: 1 9 10 3 Suggested Bet: SECRET OPERATION (10) each way. Race 2 BOORAA (1) ran 2nd to Savvy Bromac in the Breeders Stakes before working too hard in the run at her last start. She has a significant barrier advantage over her main rivals and is clearly the one to beat. ANGEL IN WHITE (7) beat most of these home last week and is fit and in form and has the strength to be put into the race when required. SAHARA STORM (6) is first-up without a trial but won six of her 13 starts last time and must be considered. MY PRAYER (8) has the widest draw to overcome but is capable on her night. Tips: 1 7 6 8 Suggested Bet: BOORAA (1) to win. Race 3 IMAROCKABILLY REBEL (3) won three on end and then lost no admirers when he made up many lengths to finish 2nd to Angel In White here at his last start. He should enjoy a nice run just off the speed and will be charging late. BLITZEMBYE (1) led throughout to win his last three starts before going for a spell, sprinting home in under 56 seconds on each occasion. He is first-up here but should give a great sight. ELDAYTONA (4) won three on end before a game 2nd here last week and is race fit. MASTER LEIGHTON (2) is next best. Tips: 3 1 4 2 Suggested Bet: IMAROCKABILLY REBEL (3) to win. Race 4 JACK FARTHING (1) has been battling bad draws and stronger opposition but is the leader here and gets his chance to bounce back into the winners’ circle. ARMA EINSTEIN (10) is racing extremely consistently and the rise in class is offset by the likelihood that he will receive the run of the race. BEAT CITY (4) has been placed in 15 of his past 17 starts and should be thereabouts again. SHADOW ROLL (3) will strip fitter for his solid first-up 4th and won’t be far away. Tips: 1 10 4 3 Suggested Bet: JACK FARTHING (1) to win. Race 5 BORN TO BOOGIE (1) led throughout here in 1.55.9 three starts back and has run nice placings from awkward barriers at her subsequent starts. She goes up in class tonight but has the pole draw and appeals as the one to beat. DOUBLE UP (2) is racing extremely consistently in this class and looks a major player again. TO FAST TO SERIOUS (5) disappointed here last week but is capable if the race is run to suit. TEXAS TIGER (7) can do things wrong at the start but will make his presence felt if he does everything right. Tips: 1 2 5 7 Suggested Bet: BORN TO BOOGIE (1) to win. Race 6 MISS BOUDICA (2) has raced well without winning this time in but gets her chance from this draw tonight. AMERICAN ARMA (3) has ran on well to record impressive victories at her last two starts and will be hitting the line strongly again. LADY JADORE (1) has finished out of the placings at her last four starts but can improve from the pole. BETTORS DESTROYA (4) has been placed in her last four starts and is capable of working in the run if required. Tips: 2 3 1 4 Suggested Bet: MISS BOUDICA (2) to win. Race 7 EUPHORIA (1) has only managed one placing from six starts this time in but is clearly the one to beat from the pole tonight. VESPA (3) has good gate speed and looks the main danger from his nice draw. CAVEMAN (6) goes up in class but must be considered on his impressive victory from the breeze here last week. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed at good odds. Tips: 1 3 6 10 Suggested Bet: EUPHORIA (1) to win. Race 8 ADDA SOMETHING (2) is a noted frontrunner who ran a solid 2nd at Pinjarra and he will be hard to catch in this company if he can find the front. MCARDLES GEM (1) has been battling bad draws and has been unplaced at his last four starts but looks a big improver from the pole. VALBONNE (7) has been placed in nine of his past 12 starts without winning and should be thereabouts again. OHOKA TITAN (4) is working up to a win but is drawn awkwardly here. Tips: 2 1 7 4 Suggested Bet: ADDA SOMETHING (2) to win. Race 9 LOUCID DREAMS (1) was beaten in a photo by Swingband in a Heat of the Pearl before not being up to make up ground in the final. He has options at the start from the pole and should give a great sight. PAUL EDWARD (2) hit the line nicely to run 2nd in the Pearl Classic and should make his presence felt tonight. HOPPYS WAY (6) was caught in the breeze in that race but will be hard to catch if he can use his brilliant gate speed to cross at the start. ARMA XFACTOR (3) has won his last two starts in easier company and is ready for the rise in class. Tips: 1 2 6 3 Suggested Bet: LOUCID DREAMS (1) to win. Race 10 QUARTZ (1) impressed on debut with a solid victory in moderate time. She will be better for that experience and has the advantage of the pole draw. CABSAV (3) caused an upset win in the Sales Classic and will be hard to beat if she is near that level at his run back from a break. EKARA NAVAJO (2) showed a nice turn of foot to win on debut and should enjoy a nice run in transit here. ALLAGLOW (6) won well on debut but isn’t as well drawn here. Tips: 1 3 2 6 Suggested Bet: QUARTZ (1) to win. Market Market
