Race 1

ALTA LOUISA (4) was impressive at her return when facing the breeze and recording a strong victory at this track. She will strip fitter for that effort and is the one to beat. SMOOTH RYE (2) has won seven of her last ten starts and the rise in class is offset by her nice draw. BETTOR GET IT ON (6) has been a beaten favourite at her last two starts but both efforts have been full of merit and she should make her presence felt here. MY SWEET DEAL (3) didn’t have much luck when a close-up 4th here last week and can play part.

Suggested Bet: SMOOTH RYE (2) each way.

Race 2

ULTIMATE OFFER (2) had excuses when finishing at the rear at his first two starts back from a spell before running nice 5th here last week. He is drawn significantly better tonight and looks a big improver. THEREUGO (7) should have the speed to cross this field and will give a great sight in that role. QUEEN SHENANDOAH (3) has been placed at her last two starts and should be right in the finish again. CAVEMAN (10) has won two of his last four starts and has options at the start being the only horse on the back line.

Race 3

TRIROYALE BRIGADE (1) didn’t see daylight when a close-up 5th at his last start but gets his chance to press for an all-the-way victory from the pole draw tonight. JASPERVELLABEACH (10) won from this barrier four starts back and will be dangerous if he gets out at the right time. SEE YA WRITE (3) defeated a stronger field here last week and must be respected again. MINI MINE YET (8) takes on the boys tonight but is flying and will be charging home again.

Suggested Bet: TRIROYALE BRIGADE (1) to win.

Race 4

MINSTREL (1) has resumed with four impressive victories and looks the leader and winner here despite rising in class. PERFECT MAJOR (5) has disappointed at his last two starts but would be the main danger if he could reproduce his 3rd to Shockwave from three runs back. BRACKEN SKY (2) defeated a weaker field here last week and looks a good place chance from his lovely draw. VULTAN TIN (8) fought on well from the breeze to finish 4th to Vampiro here last week and is always thereabouts.

Suggested Bet: MINSTREL (1) to win.

Race 5

ALTA ENGEN (1) faced the breeze when a solid 3rd to See Ya Write here last week and is clearly the one to beat after drawing the pole here. ALTA INTRIGUE (2) finished just in front of ALTA ENGEN (1) in that event and is the obvious danger. WHATABRO (10) is drawn to get a lovely run on the back of the favourite and looks a great place chance. DOCTOR TOM (8) has won nine of his 12 career starts but goes up significantly in class tonight and the wide barrier has hurt his chances.

Suggested Bet: ALTA ENGEN (1) to win.

Race 6

MAGNIFICENT STORM (9) has his first run from the stand here and has a 40m handicap to overcome but is a very classy customer and is clearly the one to beat. ALTA BLUES (7) is also having his first start from the tapes but looks the obvious danger with a safe getaway. MIDDLEPAGE (2) is racing well and will give the favoured pair something to catch if he can step to the front in his first attempt from the stand. NEARIS GREEN (5) has galloped out at his last two starts and won’t be far away if he can step cleanly tonight.

Suggested Bet: MAGNIFICENT STORM (9) to win.

Race 7

LORD ROSCO (1) resumes here and trialled only fairly one month ago but will lead here and be hard to beat if he is near his top. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (2) was well-driven to overcome a wide draw here last week and looks the main danger from his nice draw. MEDIEVAL MAN (5) hasn’t had much luck in his two runs back from a spell and could be an improver. FREE TO AIR (10) is drawn to get his favourite trip on the pegs and can be placed again.

Suggested Bet: LORD ROSCO (1) to win.

Race 8

BETTOR BE OSCAR (4) has only been placed in one of his four starts this time in but this looks a winnable race for him tonight. HENWOOD BAY (11) has been unplaced in his last four start but will appreciate a drop in class and can make his presence felt. ROBBIE EASTON (7) continues to disappoint but gets one last chance in this company. DIAMOND DOVE (3) has finished just behind the placegetters in all six starts in this campaign and is the best drawn of the main chances.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE OSCAR (4) to win.

Race 9

ARMA EINSTEIN (1) is racing extremely consistently and will be hard to beat if he can hold up at the start but is still a winning chance if he settles on the leaders’ back. POWERPLAY (6) used his brilliant gate speed to lead throughout on three occasions before running a nice 4th in a stand behind Minstrel and will be hard to catch if he crosses at the start tonight. ORLANDO BLUE (2) ran a nice 2nd to POWERPLAY (6) before beating an easier field at his last start. MACHNIFICENT (8) will be charging home if there is a solid early tempo.

Suggested Bet: ARMA EINSTEIN (1) to win.

Race 10

WALL STREET GIRL (5) has shown plenty of ability but had been doing things wrong until she put it all together to win at her last two starts and can make it a hat-trick tonight. NEVER FORGET ADDA (2) was an impressive all-the-way winner at her only start and is drawn to be a major player. DONTBESILLYCHILLI (7) and MAKE YOUR MARK (6) are stablemates that continue to race well in this company and both fillies should be thereabouts again.
