Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on December 3, 2020December 3, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 DIEGO (3) has created a big impression in winning his only two starts in WA. He was a strong winner from the breeze here on Tuesday and is the one to beat after drawing inside his main rivals. LAWRENCE (4) was a comfortable winner at his only start state since crossing the Tasman and looks an obvious danger. YES HES A LADIES MAN (5) is the worst drawn of the fancied trio but is undefeated in three WA starts and must be respected. EUPHORIC MOMENT (10) will need luck from this draw but can be placed if he gets some luck. Tips: 3 4 5 10 Suggested Bet: DIEGO (3) to win. Race 2 LIAM NEIL (1) led throughout here six starts back and has been around the place at his subsequent starts. He gets the chance to lead again tonight and should prove hard to catch. ROMAN AVIATOR (3) overcame a wide draw to finish 3rd in a similar field last week and should be thereabouts from his better barrier here. MISTER BUSHIDO (4) has been placed in four of his last five runs and won’t be far away. DESTINED TO RULE (10) might not have the speed to hold the leaders’ back but will be finishing strongly if he has any luck. Tips: 1 3 4 10 Suggested Bet: LIAM NEIL (1) to win. Race 3 THEREUGO (2) crossed from a wide draw and then sprinted home in 56.0 to win here two starts back. He is very quick off the arm and will give a great sight if he finds the front without doing too much work. CANT REFUSE (1) has plenty of ability and is the obvious danger from the pole. ROCK ME OVER (4) drops in class on his last start 4th to Braeview Bondi and can play a part. ROSIES IDEAL (11) was a strong 2nd from the breeze here last week and can put it to the boys tonight. Tips: 2 1 4 11 Suggested Bet: THEREUGO (2) to win. Race 4 ROMAN ART (1) led throughout here in slick time four starts back and hasn’t had much luck at his subsequent starts where he has finished just behind the placegetters. He draws to lead tonight and should prove hard to catch. GRAN CHICO (10) was well driven to score an upset win here last week and is drawn to get a nice run in transit. SIR GALAHAD (8) won two of his three starts in September and has the ability to overcome the wide draw. JUSTASEC (5) needs the race run to suit but can unwind a strong finishing burst. Tips: 1 10 8 5 Suggested Bet: ROMAN ART (1) to win. Race 5 CHIAROSCURO (1) led and was beaten as a $1.38 favourite at his last start. He looks the likely leader again and can get away with this event if he can get a breather in the middle stages. AS HAPPY AS LARRY (2) is versatile and looks a major player from his nice barrier. STROKE OF LUCK (12) will appreciate the drop in class tonight and can overcome the backline draw. BRACKEN SKY (10) is racing in career best form and is drawn to get a nice run on the pegs. Tips: 1 2 12 10 Suggested Bet: CHIAROSCURO (1) to win. Race 6 CHICAGO BULL (7) was a dominant winner of the Fremantle Cup before being unable to catch PERFECT MAJOR (8) in a dash home here last week. He will be better suited by the staying trip tonight and is clearly the one to beat. TO FAST TO SERIOUS (10) lived up to the hype with a nice 3rd at his first start in fast class company and gets the right draw to suit his sit-sprint style. GALACTIC STAR (11) ran on strongly to finish 2nd in the Fremantle Cup and will be charging home if there is a solid tempo. JACK FARTHING (1) has been racing well since crossing the Nullabor and has the gate speed to play a major part in this race. Tips: 7 8 10 1 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (7) to win. Race 7 AMERICAN BRAVE (12) ran a slashing 2nd first-up before being beaten as a $1.14 favourite here last week when he couldn’t make up the required ground in a 55.1 last half. This should be an easier assignment and he is clearly the one to beat. DISCO UNDER FIRE (1) is better known as a stand horse but has won two of his last three starts and must be considered. ONE FOR DAVE ANDME (4) is ready to improve after three unplaced runs back from a spell. HENWOOD BAY (8) was placed at big odds last week and can be thereabouts again. Tips: 12 1 4 8 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BRAVE (12) to win. Race 8 KILOWATT KID (7) disappointed in his last campaign when unplaced as a short-priced favourite in both starts. He resumes here without s trial so must be taken on trust but does have plenty of ability on his night. THAT’S PERFECT (12) crosses the Nullabor with a strong Victorian record and indicated he will win plenty of races with a recent trial victory. BETTORGRINANBARIT (1) can be hit and miss at the start but will give them something to catch if she leads. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (5) is racing well and can play a part. Tips: 7 12 1 5 Suggested Bet: KILOWATT KID (7) to win. Race 9 BLUE CHIP ADDA (2) has only won one of her four starts this time in but she has battled bad draws. She will sit just off the leaders here and should be charging home. TIFFANY ROSE (4) crossed from a wide barrier when a comfortable winner at her last start and will be hard to beat if she finds the top again. FIFTY FIVE REBORN (1) was a slashing 4th in that race and now draws more favourably so must be respected. STAR FROMTHEPALACE (3) is a very consistent filly who won’t be far away from her nice draw. Tips: 2 4 1 3 Suggested Bet: BLUE CHIP ADDA (2) each way. Race 10 LAVRA JOE (9) won his first four starts this time in and lost no admirers when a brave 2nd to ELDAYTONA (8) after starting from this draw. He will have to do all of the work again but will still give a great sight. ROBBIE ROCKET (10) ran on well to finish 3rd in that event and can be dangerous from his soft draw. JUMPINGJACKMAC (4) was heavily supported in that event but was badly held up at a crucial stage and is drawn inside his main rivals tonight. SUGAR STREET (7) was a brave 4th after facing the breeze and won’t be far away again. Tips: 9 8 10 7 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE ROCKET (10) each way. Market Market
