Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 8, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 MARAS ACE MAN (1) led throughout here three starts back before running a close-up 4th to Eloquent Mach after facing the breeze. He is drawn to find the front tonight and should prove very hard to catch. JACK WILLIAM (6) has faced the breeze and finished 2nd at his past three starts and that scenario looks likely again. SIGHTSEEING ANVIL (10) led throughout in easier company here on Tuesday and is drawn to be a great place chance. BETTORSTARTDREAMING (9) is racing well and has ability but is poorly drawn again. Tips: 1 6 10 9 Suggested Bet: MARAS ACE MAN (1) to win. Race 2 VINCENZO PERUGGIA (1) led throughout for a comfortable victory at his only start last time in. He warmed up for this with an impressive Byford trial win and looks the one to beat from the pole. BRAEVIEW BONDI (10) has endured two tough runs since recording a dominant 16m victory at this track and looks a great each way chance from this draw. CARTER MICHEAL (6) is racing extremely consistently and looks the other winning hope. MISTER BUSHIDO (7) locked wheels here last week but shouldn’t be far away here. Tips: 1 10 6 7 Suggested Bet: BRAEVIEW BONDI (10) each way. Race 3 PATRICKTHEPIRANHA (5) has worked in the run before finishing 2nd at his past two starts and looks capable of breaking back into the winners’ circle tonight. EL JACKO (3) only has a short sprint but is capable of winning a race of this nature with the right run. ELOQUENT MACH (11) will appreciate not having to chase Chicago Bull tonight and looks a major player. STROKE OF LUCK (7) is racing well enough to feature in the finish but will need some luck from his wide draw. Tips: 5 3 11 7 Suggested Bet: PATRICKTHEPIRANHA (5) to win. Race 4 THE BUCKEYE BULLET (8) has been racing well in stands and was an impressive winner against a weaker field on Monday. He is drawn wide but has a touch of class and should give a great sight. BRACKEN SKY (3) has got the speed to cross in the early stages and should be right in the finish whether he holds the front or takes a sit. RAKASINC (5) knocked up after facing the breeze last week but will give them something to catch if he finds the top. DESTINED TO RULE (1) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be dangerous late. Tips: 8 3 5 1 Suggested Bet: THE BUCKEYE BULLET (8) to win. Race 5 MIGHTY CONQUEROR (7) created a big impression before facing the breeze and winning the WA Pacing Cup at his last start. He hasn’t been seen since then so there is a query on his fitness but he will be hard to beat if anywhere near his top. CONVERT DENARIO (1) hasn’t started since leading throughout here in August and should give a great sight. THE BIRD DANCE (10) chased hard when 3rd to Chicago Bull last week and is drawn to get a nice trip. MY CARBON COPY (6) has been placed at his last five starts and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 7 1 10 6 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY CONQUEROR (7) to win. Race 6 J B MAUNEY (3) was an impressive winner here two starts back before being unable to make up the required ground when 4th in a mobile last week. He returns to the stand tonight and should give a great sight. JUST WING IT (2) has impressed in winning his last two starts, one from the stand, and looks the obvious danger after drawing inside his main rival. DELIGHTFULREACTION (9) has been placed at her past six starts and should be charging home again. FLYING MISTER IDEAL (1) hasn’t had much luck of late and can improve. Tips: 3 2 9 1 Suggested Bet: J B MAUNEY (3) to win. Race 7 ROMAN ART (3) won five on end before being placed at his last two starts before a spell. He has trialled nicely for his return and appeals as the one to beat from this draw. BE MY ROCK (11) wasn’t suited in the breeze last start but should enjoy a nice trip in the moving line tonight and looks the main danger. JUST MAKE MINE DIAMONDS (8) has been placed at her past two starts and can be in the money again despite the wide draw STAR ARMBRO (1) is a lot better suited on the pegs and can be placed from the pole. Tips: 3 11 8 1 Suggested Bet: ROMAN ART (3) to win. Race 8 WAINUI CREEK (3) had a very good record in NZ and makes her debut for Team Bond tonight. Warwick has elected to drive her over the stablemate and she should prove hard to beat. OUR ALFIE ROMEO (7) has been a beaten favourite at her past two starts but it wouldn’t surprise to see her turn it around tonight. MILLWOOD MOLLY (1) led throughout in slick time at her last start before a spell and could give some cheek here. TYPHOON TIFF (8) has impressed in winning her last two starts but is poorly drawn tonight. Tips: 3 7 1 8 Suggested Bet: WAINUI CREEK (3) to win. Race 9 BROADBEACH (2) impressed in winning her first two starts in WA and lost no admirers when running on to finish 2nd to Red Hot Lady. She is drawn to lead tonight and should prove hard to catch. BLUE CHIP ADDA (9) won her last three starts before a spell including the Westbred Classic and is the class runner of the field but is poorly drawn. STAR FROMTHEPALACE (6) is a consistent filly resuming from a spell and won a Byford trial in slow time. INTHESKYROCKET (4) has won three of her last four starts but goes up in class. Tips: 2 9 6 4 Suggested Bet: BROADBEACH (2) to win. Race 10 JETT STAR (6) faced the breeze but couldn’t hold off LAVRA JOE (7) at his first run back from a spell. He should strip fitter for that effort and will be hard to beat. LAVRA JOE (7) sprinted brilliantly to defeat the Bond pair in that race and must be considered again. GIVE US A WAVE (5) led and had every chance when 3rd behind the favoured pair last start and needs to find a couple of lengths to turn the tables. OUR SHELLEY BEACH (1) has trialled fairly and is drawn to get a soft run. Tips: 6 7 5 1 Suggested Bet: JETT STAR (6) to win. Market Market
