Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 11, 2020June 11, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 BOOM TIME (1) was a good all-the-way winner here two starts back when dashing over the final 800m in 55.7 and will be hard to catch if he can reel off similar sectionals tonight. MASTER PUBLISHER (7) has impressed in winning his last three starts and has the strength to overcome the wide draw. MACHS GOLD (4) crosses the Nullabor with very good Victorian form and must be considered at his WA debut. CYCLONE BANNER (5) has come back in top order and can play a part with the right run in transit. Tips: 1 7 4 5 Suggested Bet: BOOM TIME (1) to win. Race 2 HENWOOD BAY (4) is yet to win at this track but his recent Bunbury form has been first-class. He has won two of his last three including a 1.56.3 victory last week and looks a great each-way chance. PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING (3) performed below his best in four consecutive runs but looked sharper last start and could be on the improve. MCARDLES GEM (1) has been placed at his past his past two starts from backline draws and has options from the pole. TUAS DELIGHT (2) ran 2nd here last week and is well drawn again. Tips: 4 3 1 2 Suggested Bet: HENWOOD BAY (4) each way. Race 3 ROBBIE EASTON (9) has ran nice placings at his two runs back from a spell and should be primed for this assignment. THE DALI EXPRESS (11) wasn’t disgraced in finishing 7th at his first run back from a spell and has a nice trailing draw here. JILLIBY JAKE (1) led throughout over this distance two starts back and will give them something to catch. PIERRE WHITBY (4) has been placed in three of his last five starts and shouldn’t be far away again. Tips: 9 11 1 4 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE EASTON (9) to win. Race 4 BETTOR BE OSCAR (1) has battled bad barriers of late but ran a nice 2nd to Mighty Santana here last week. He is drawn to lead tonight and will prove hard to catch. DRACARYS (8) defeated a similar field here two starts back and will be dangerous if she gets the right cart into the race. LIVURA (10) is first-up but is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs and shouldn’t be far away. MR KIWI (4) is racing fairly and can control the tempo of this event if desired. Tips: 1 8 10 4 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE OSCAR (1) to win. Race 5 LAVRA JOE (3) was a dominant winner of the fastest heat and is drawn inside his main rivals tonight. He looks likely to take up the running and is the one to beat. JETT STAR (12) is unbeaten in his three starts and looks to have plenty of ability but has to overcome the backline draw. CARABAO (6) was a strong winner of the other heat but has an awkward draw here. MIGHTY RONALDO (10) is drawn to get a soft trip and could be the value runner if he sees daylight at the right time. Tips: 3 12 6 10 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY RONALDO (10) each way. Race 6 ARISTOCRATIC STAR (4) is one-dimensional but he has a sharp turn of foot and will be hard to hold out if he gets the right trip in transit. LONGREACH BAY (1) was a good all-the-way winner in easier company last start and should give a sight from the pole. ADDA POCKET RINSE (10) has won three of his five race starts and indicated that he should be in for a good campaign with a recent Byford trial win. MIRACLE MAX (12) has won his last five on end and is ready for the rise in class. Tips: 4 1 10 12 Suggested Bet: ARISTOCRATIC STAR (4) to win. Race 7 FIFTY FIVE REBORN (4) was a good all-the-way winner three starts back and has been unplaced from wide draws at her subsequent runs. She is drawn inside her main rival here and will be hard to beat if she can find the top. STAR FROMTHEPALACE (7) has won four of her last six starts including a strong win from the breeze last week and is the obvious danger. MISSBILLYNOTSILLY (1) drew this barrier when 4th here last week and won’t be far away. OUR STAR CARLY (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed. Tips: 4 7 1 10 Suggested Bet: FIFTY FIVE REBORN (4) to win. Race 8 THE BIRD DANCE (3) has won 14 of his 21 career starts and has impressed in winning three of his last four. He looks the leader tonight and that gives him the edge over his main rival. BLETCHLEY PARK (5) followed two good wins with a solid 3rd in fast class company here last week and is the obvious danger. MISTER BUSHIDO (4) has won three of his last four starts and is ready for the rise in class. GOOD TIMES AHEAD (1) should settle just behind the pace and looks a good place chance. Tips: 3 5 4 1 Suggested Bet: THE BIRD DANCE (3) to win. Race 9 MANDY JOAN (3) has impressed in being placed in her two starts this time in. She is drawn inside her main rivals tonight and should give a great sight. SWEET MADDISON (6) was held up for a run in the WA Oaks after winning five of her previous six starts and looks a major player here. TIFFANY ROSE (5) has only been fair at her last two starts but has plenty of ability and can’t be overlooked. MY PRAYER (1) ran a close 2nd here last week and should be thereabouts from the pole. Tips: 3 6 5 1 Suggested Bet: MANDY JOAN (3) to win. Race 10 LORD LIAM (6) has only missed a place once in his last 28 starts and resumes here tonight. He is a versatile type and should give a great sight first-up. ROCK TONIGHT (7) was a beaten favourite at his last start but is suited by the small field here. TOKYO JOE (2) resumes tonight and is an inconsistent trotter but would give this a shake at his best. GAP YEAR (1) has done things wrong in two of his three WA starts but clearly has ability and can play a part from the pole. Tips: 6 7 2 1 Suggested Bet: LORD LIAM (6) to win. Market Market
