Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on April 30, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 THE BUCKEYE BULLET (2) has won four of his last six starts including a strong win from the stand here last week. He draws inside his main rivals and will be hard to catch if he can hold them out at the start. BALCATHERINE (7) couldn’t catch the leader in a quick last half here last week but will flooding home again. ROMAN ART (3) has won five of his last six starts and looks a major player from this draw. ROLL WITH ME (4) has led throughout to win his last two starts but is unlikely to find the top tonight. Tips: 2 7 3 4 Suggested Bet: THE BUCKEYE BULLET (2) to win. Race 2 ELOQUENT MACH (4) couldn’t get into the race at his return from a spell but should enjoy a nice run from this draw and is the class runner of the field. VALBONNE (2) led throughout here three starts back and should give a good sight from this draw. SOHO THUNDERSTRUCK (5) is racing extremely well but looks likely to settle in the breeze tonight. BEE SEVENTEEN (1) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed. Tips: 4 2 5 1 Suggested Bet: ELOQUENT MACH (4) to win. Race 3 BLETCHLEY PARK (6) is the class runner of this field but resumes after a six-week break and has an awkward draw to overcome. He looks the one to beat but will need a touch of luck in running. TALKERUP (1) won’t know herself from this draw and will give a great sight if she can hold up at the start. MIGHTY SANTANA (8) is racing extremely well but has a tough draw to overcome. ALWAYS AN HONOUR (2) ran a nice 3rd here last start and should play a part from this barrier. Tips: 6 1 8 2 Suggested Bet: TALKERUP (1) each way. Race 4 CHICAGO BULL (9) lost no admirers when a brave 3rd here last week after doing all of the work. This looks an easier assignment and he is clearly the one to beat. ICEENOTHINK (1) doesn’t have the class of some of his rivals but is racing well and is drawn to get a nice run. EL JACKO (7) wasn’t far away from CHICAGO BULL (9) at his last start and can play a part with the right run. IM FULL OF EXCUSES (8) disappointed at his last start but wouldn’t be far away if he reproduces his previous form. Tips: 9 1 7 8 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (9) to win. Race 5 DOUBLE EXPRESSO (3) has won 12 of her 16 career starts and has been the best filly of her age. She is drawn nicely here and is clearly the one to beat. MY SWEET DEAL (2) had been below her best but ran a nice 2nd here last start and looks the main danger from her perfect barrier. TIFFANY ROSE (4) was a good all-the-way winner at her last start and can play a part with the right run. FIFTY FIVE REBORN (6) was a comfortable winner over MY SWEET DEAL (2) here last week but has an awkward draw to overcome. Tips: 3 2 4 6 Suggested Bet: DOUBLE EXPRESSO (3) to win. Race 6 ARMA INDIE (8) was placed in two Mares’ Classics before going for a spell and is the class runner of the field. She has trialled fairly for her return and looks quite well handicapped off the 10m mark. MISS SANGRIAL (11) ran a slashing 2nd here against the boys last week and can overcome her back mark if she gets the right cart into the race. PICK MY POCKET (9) is racing well in mobile events and looks a major player if she can step cleanly. COUNTESS GRACE (3) would give them something to catch if she jumped to the front. Tips: 4 11 9 3 Suggested Bet: ARMA INDIE (8) to win. Race 7 ACE BROMAC (11) has worked hard and been placed at his past two starts. He should enjoy a nice run through from his trailing draw and should give a great sight. BROOKIES JET (1) led and ran along when a solid 5th here last week and will be hard to catch if he can get some cheaper sectionals. ATHABASCAN (5) faced the breeze and finished 3rd here two starts back and a similar performance would see him in the finish. MARQUISARD (3) was only beaten 3.4m in a similar field last week and can play a part from this draw. Tips: 11 1 5 3 Suggested Bet: ACE BROMAC (11) to win. Race 8 PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING (6) ran a solid 3rd here at his second run back from a spell and should be ready to show his best tonight. FOLSOM PRISON (1) was shuffled back at a crucial stage before charging home to finish 3rd on Monday and looks a major player from the pole. OUR RHYTHM N BLUES (3) has had a freshen up since disappointing here and can be a sharp improver. CARRAMAR ARAPAHO (8) couldn’t cross last week and finished towards the rear but this isn’t a quick line and he would give cheek if he found the front. Tips: 6 1 3 8 Suggested Bet: PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING (6) each way. Race 9 TAROONA BROMAC (8) has shown plenty of ability in winning ten of his 14 starts. He blew the stand at his last start but returns to the mobile tonight and can overcome the wide draw. SIR GALAHAD (7) won two on end and then battled on well when 2nd to The Bird Dance at his last start and is the obvious danger. BETTOR BE OSCAR (6) rises in class after winning his last two starts but is drawn inside the two favourites. MACHLANI (2) is drawn to get a nice run and can run a race at odds. Tips: 8 7 6 2 Suggested Bet: TAROONA BROMAC (8) to win. Race 10 RAKSJAMESON (2) led throughout at his WA debut and looks an impressive type. He looks likely to find the top again and is the one to beat. COPY N PACE (6) impressed at his last start when facing the breeze and racing away for a comfortable win and looks the main danger to his stablemate. REAL ROCKET (4) is an improving type who has now won three of his four race starts and is ready for the rise in class. SIDSTREPO (1) was placed behind RAKSJAMESON (2) on Monday and shouldn’t be far away again from the pole. Tips: 2 6 4 1 Suggested Bet: RAKSJAMESON (2) to win. Market Market
