The Scout: Saturday NBA Best Bets Posted on January 15, 2021January 15, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Dallas Mavericks @ Milwaukee Bucks The Bucks are rolling having won six of their last seven, with reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way. Ably supported by Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, the Bucks are scoring a league-best 120 points per game, having topped 130 points three times already for the season. Dallas have welcomed back Kristaps Porzingis, who scored 16 points in his return game, and will slot in alongside Luka as their number two scoring option. Both sides here have extremely exciting offenses and are led by the two leading MVP candidates. It shapes as being a back and forth contest and the over appeals at its current mark. Suggested Bet: Over +227.0 (Game Total) @ $1.91* Atlanta Hawks @ Utah Jazz The Jazz (7-4) have won three in a row and are currently third in the Western Conference. They have one of the league’s best defenses and have claimed wins over the Bucks, Clippers and Blazers. Atlanta have slipped to 5-5 having won just two of their last six games. They have battled injury and I think Rudy Gobert will cause problems for their already shaky offense. Utah have held opponents to 106 points per game this season, the 5th lowest mark in the league. They also lead the league in rebounding thanks again to Gobert who is averaging 13 per game. Atlanta are more than capable on their night, but Utah really do look like the perfect team to worry a Trae Young and prey on the weaknesses of this team. Suggested Bet: Utah -6.0 (Line) @ $1.90* Chicago Bulls @ OKC Thunder The Thunder (5-6) have been okay this season led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who has taken another step forward, averaging 20 points per game. Despite strong performances from Zach LaVine, the Bulls have lost three games in a row. Adding to this misery, Chicago’s last scheduled match was postponed which means they have not played basketball in almost a week! The Bulls offense is a two-man game between LaVine and Coby White, if one of these two do not get it going it usually means a rough scoring night and a loss. The Thunder have skilled enough wing defenders including Lu Dort who can stifle the stars of Chicago and keep them from putting up a winning score. Suggested Bet: OKC (Head to Head) *Odds correct as at 10am, 14th January 2020. Market Market
