The Scout: NBA Finals Game 2

Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron and Anthony Davis were dominant in Game 1, combining for 59 points, 22 rebounds and 14 assists.

Miami had no answers for the superstar duo, and now face the prospect of being without Bam Adebayo for an unknown period of time. The Heat big man is listed as doubtful for Game 2.

The Lakers were equally as effective on the defensive end of the floor, running the Miami shooters off the three point line. Dragic and Robinson failed to make a trey, while Tyler Herro hit just two of his eight attempts from deep.

With Dragic and Bam likely to miss here, a lot is going to be left up to Jimmy Butler (who was good in Game 1). Improvement should come from Herro and Robinson while the likes of Iguodala, Nunn and Olynyk will be better prepared for what’s going to be a sharp increase in minutes.

Everything that could’ve gone wrong in Game 1 DID for Miami. And while I can’t see them winning this game, they’ve shown too much grit throughout the season to get blown off the floor.

Suggested Bet: Los Angeles 1-10 (Margin) @ $2.55*
