The Scout: EPL Week 9 Posted on October 21, 2021October 25, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Leeds vs Wolverhampton Leeds’ struggles continue following their 1-0 loss to Southampton, leaving them 17th on the table. Wolverhampton on the other hand have moved to 10th having won three straight. Wolves have proven that they can dig deep and win matches from having their back against the wall. Last weekend’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa was a prime example, down 2-0 at the 69 minute mark, before rattling off three straight goals to secure the win. Leeds have looked a shadow of themselves and are among the lowest scoring teams in the Premier League. They’ve scored just seven goals in eight matches, while conceding 15 in the process. Wolverhampton’s signing of South Korea’s Hee-Chan Hwang has proven to be an instant success and is forming an excellent striking partnership upfront with Jimenez. Suggested Bet: Wolverhampton (Match Result) @ $2.75* Brentford vs Leicester City Brentford (9th) will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Chelsea while Leicester City (11th) are coming off their best performance of the season, a 4-2 win over Manchester United. The Bees have been a revelation in the Premier League since their promotion from the Championship. Thomas Frank’s squad has been one of the most entertaining teams to watch, with a win over West Ham and a 3-3 draw with Liverpool making up their last three matches. Leicester seemed to turned a corner last weekend, winning for the first time in five Premier League matches. Jamie Vardy is looking menacing and has seven goals to his name for the season, scoring in each of his last five League fixtures. This should be an exciting game as Brentford like to play a free-flowing game which often leaves them exposed to a counterattack. Vardy proved last week against United just how effective he is on the fast break, and I expect him to be the difference as Leicester continue to build. Suggested Bet: Leicester City (Match Result) @ $2.75* West Ham vs Tottenham West Ham (7th) will be aiming to get back on the winners list, having gone three matches without claiming maximum points. Their London rivals Tottenham (5th) find themselves again challenging for the top four after back-to-back wins. Spurs have finally started to look more like themselves, bouncing back from three straight losses. Harry Kane opened his goal scoring account in Tottenham’s win over Newcastle, with Heung-Min Son the sides most consistent player, scoring four goals in his seven appearances this season. Both of these teams have been inconsistent defensively, so we can expect to see plenty of goal scoring opportunities. No one is better at taking their chances than Son who looks a great bet to add to his tally here. Suggested Bet: Son Heung-Min To Score a Goal @ $3* *Odds correct as at 2pm, 21st October 2021.
