The Scout: EPL Week 4 Posted on October 2, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Leeds United vs Manchester City League favourites Manchester City were humiliated by Leicester last weekend in a devastating 5-2 loss at home, while a last minute goal saw Leeds beat Sheffield United, their second win of the season. Leeds striker Patrick Bamford was the hero last weekend, taking his season tally to three goals in as many appearances. Bamford is helped by Leeds’ aggressive style of play, with Stuart Dallas and Luke Ayling presenting quality crosses into dangerous areas. With concerns down back for Manchester City, I think Bamford finding the back of the net presents great value here. Suggested Bet: Patrick Bamford Anytime Goalscorer @ $3.50* Leicester City vs West Ham United Leicester had one of their best ever wins in the Premier League last weekend; a 5-2 away thrashing of Manchester City. Jamie Vardy scored four goals in what was an absolute clinic and it really does look like Leicester can improve on their 5th placed finish last season. West Ham are coming off a result equally as dominant, a 4-0 drubbing of the highly-touted Wolves. If there is one thing we can expect here, it’s goals. Leicester have scored 12 goals for the season (number one in the league) and should ultimately have too much firepower for the Hammers. Suggested Bet: Leicester City and Both Teams to Score @ $3* Southampton vs West Brom Newly promoted West Brom are winless through three matches, but have been exciting nonetheless with 16 goals featured in their opening three games. Their Brazillian midfielder Matheus Pereira (1 goal, 2 assists) has been particularly exciting and looks the main cog in the engine room. Southampton are yet to click this season but their strikeforce of Danny Ings and Che Adams should be looking at goal scoring opportunities galore in this matchup. Ings has scored three time already this season and is a world-class talent and one of the best finishers in the Premier League Neither of these teams are particularly known for their defensive prowess, so let the goals come! Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 (Total Goals) @ $2.95* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 2nd October 2020. Market Market
