The Scout: EPL Week 20 Posted on January 27, 2021January 27, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Brighton vs Fulham This match features two of the worst sides in the Premier League (17th and 18th) with Brighton’s last-up win over Leeds the only victory either team has had in a combined 10 fixtures. Brighton’s winger Neal Maupay is one player here who has started to hit his strides. He scored the winner against Leeds, and has three goals in his last five five matches. Although primarily a wingman, Maupay has spent time as the outright striker, with the Frenchman’s pace and ability to counterattack enabling him to catch defenses off guard. Brighton are five points clear of Fulham (and the relegation zone) and can jump two spots with a win here. There’s a lot to play for. I think they look to attack, with Maupay the main danger. Suggested Bet: Neal Maupay Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.50* Everton vs Leicester Everton (6th) have won five of their last six matches in the Premier League, while Leicester (3rd) have won three straight, with recent wins over Chelsea and Southampton. Everton are building towards their best form and have a roster that is back to full strength. One of the biggest returns from injury has been defender Lucas Digne; a superb defender who loves to get forward and whip the ball in towards goal. Despite their strong form, I think Leicester will struggle in this match without their star striker Jamie Vardy. With no Vardy, the Foxes lack that final touch of class up forward as well as his creativity which has resulted in eight assists to go along with his 11 goals this season. Everton’s attacking trio of Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Rodriguez is back in full-flight and looks to hold the advantage in this matchup. Suggested Bet: Everton (Match Result) @ $2.70* Tottenham vs Liverpool Tottenham (6th) have slipped out of the top four but a win here will see them back in, jumping over their opponents Liverpool (5th) who haven’t won in five straight Premier League fixtures. Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has had tactical success against the top sides this season, with wins over Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal. He will no doubt be looking at a strategy that takes advantage of Liverpool’s defensive issues. The duo of Harry Kane and Son-Heung Min has been devastating all season (24 goals, 17 assists combined) and should be able to take advantage of the makeshift Liverpool defense. Liverpool haven’t traveled well this season and with only one win in their last eight Premier League fixtures, look to be up against it here again. Suggested Bet: Tottenham (Match Result) @ $3.10* *Odds correct as at 9am, 27th January 2021. Market Market
