The Scout: EPL Week 18 Posted on January 12, 2021January 12, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Manchester City vs Brighton Pep Guardiola and Manchester City (5th) have found their rhythm, unbeaten in seven Premier League fixtures and having won three straight. City have been scoring goals en masse, and with Kevin De Bruyne pulling the offensive strings, they are looking back to their menacing best. Brighton (17th) have been horrendous. They’ve got just two wins for the season (the last coming in November last year) and have never beaten City in a Premier League match. Manchester City won the last matchup between these sides 5-0 back in July last year. I’m expecting a similar result here. Suggested Bet: Manchester City Over 3.5 Goals @ $3.40* Tottenham vs Fulham Tottenham (4th) banked a much-needed 3-0 win last matchday over Leeds. They also rested superstars Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min for their recent FA Cup fixture – so expect them to be raring to go. Fulham (18th) are likely to be in the relegation conversation for the rest of the season, averaging less than a goal a game and with just two wins to their name. Tottenham have led at halftime in nine of their Premier League fixtures this season, with Jose Mourinho known for his love of getting, and protecting a lead. With just two goals in their last five matches, it’s hard to see Fulham hitting back if/when they fall behind. Suggested Bet: Tottenham (Half-Time/Full-Time) @ $2.10* Arsenal vs Crystal Palace There has been a big turnaround at Arsenal who have escaped relegation fears (and jokes), rattling off three straight wins, climbing to in 11th spot on the table. Manager Mikel Arteta has changed Arsenal’s formation, putting Lacazette in the number 9 striker position, with Aubameyang and Saka shifted to the wings. The results were on full display in recent wins over Chelsea (3-1) and West Brom (4-0). This formation change has rejuvenated Lacazette in particular who is now playing in his preferred, and natural position. The French striker has four goals in his last three Premier League matches and should get plenty of chances to add to that here. Suggested Bet: Alexandre Lacazette Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.10* *Odds correct as at 8am, 12th January 2020. Market Market
