The Scout: EPL Matchday 37 Posted on May 3, 2019May 3, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Everton vs Burnley 4th May, 3am WST 9th placed Everton were disappointing in their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last week, but their recent form has been strong with four wins from their last six matches. Burnley are 15th on the table, but have officially secured their spot in the Premier League for another season. The Clarets held Manchester City goalless for 60 minutes last weekend, eventually going down 1-0, an impressive performance regardless of the loss. At home Burnley play a very defensive and cautious style of football, but on the road they have been the opposite. There have been three goals or more in five of Burnley’s last six away games in the Premier League and they have conceded a goal in each of these matches. Everton have been particularly strong at Goodison Park of late, with big wins over Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. After last week’s result expect the Toffees to be aggressive from the outset in what will be their last match at home for the season. Suggested Bet: Match Result Everton & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.40* West Ham vs Southampton 4th May, 10pm WST West Ham (11th) made history last matchday becoming the first team to win at Tottenham’s new stadium. The Hammers will come into this fixture full of confidence after the defeat of their London rival, but at this stage of the season, have little to play for other than putting on a show for their home fans. Meanwhile, back to back draws for 16th placed Southampton has been enough to see the Saints avoid relegation in a disappointing 2018/19 season. Aspirations were high for the Hammers coming into this season. They spent a club record during the summer transfer window, and brought in new manager Manuel Pellegrini. For the most part they have looked out of sync but when they click though, they’re spectacular. They’ve won the lost two outings between these sides and should make it three here. Suggested Bet: Match Result West Ham @ $2.25* Manchester City vs Leicester 7th May, 3am WST The most exciting fixture of the round sees Manchester City looking to tighten their stranglehold on consecutive League titles. Leicester have been fantastic since the appointment of Brendan Rodgers with six wins, a draw and two losses in their last nine Premier League matches. This run includes last week’s 3-0 win at home over Arsenal, arguably their most impressive win of the season. With Liverpool playing Newcastle two days before this fixture, Manchester City will likely start here in second place – needless to say this is must win. City are no strangers to pressure however, and are currently on a 12 game win streak in the Premier League. Leicester have scored 16 goals in their last seven Premier League matches with Jamie Vardy (as always) at the forefront for the Foxes. I expect them to get at least one goal past this City defense, but ultimately come up short. Suggested Bet: Match Result Manchester City & Both Teams To Score @ $2.22* *Odds correct as at 1pm WST 3rd May 2019. Market Market
